My Sansui A-a7 and A-a9 both have those Starget capacitors. Great series BTW! Beautiful amp.

You can use solutions to clean Silver for the contacts and it clean the cover from heatspots and also Aliminium.

Did you use any lubricant for the switches and what do you like to use to clean the PCB Boards?

I use Isopropyl bath to wash pcbs, I cleaned some switches that were problematic but most were fine to leave alone :)

What kind of replacement pots do you use? I have been looking for replacements but I can only find the blue boxes with the top golden screw for adjustment.

If you’re referring to the adjustment trimpots. I only ever use Bourns branded ones. In this application they were 3339 model

Currently using dBPLUS 1212 speakers but this amp will be driving electrostat transformers most of the time :)

If you want a smaller brush you can get some dental brushes for in between teeth. 13:08 Whatever you do, don't take the latching mechanism apart 😂 .
