I picked up one of those about 20 years ago for twelve bucks. Still have it.

Nice simple deck, I like it's minimal clean lines and a good learning experience video. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for another great turntable video. I think you have the right idea for a channel. When I check the analytics on my channel, the turntable videos always have the highest number of views.

Good job man. Another one saved. The microswitch is the most common fault on the old units of the era in my climate. It is often indicated by a flickering strobe. I see this all the time. So much so that I flush it as an initial step in service. I find caps mainly improve speed stability. Arcs because of tarnish, poor contact and finds path of least resistance. Bzzzzzzz Bzzzzzz.....I'm Altar I can put my arm back on....you can't...play safe. I just installed the speed module yesterday on a dual 601, 1249 and 510. Process takes about 10 mins. All working perfectly now.

What is really strange is that I was getting correct voltage at the main regulator on the power supply. I did clean the switch off-camera and must have worked it enough to create some decent contact again for the current to flow.

Great video. Where can we purchase the micro switch? Is there a part number for OEM or the replacement you used? Thank you

Did you have to adjust the pots on the motor board? I heard you say they might have been off! But it probably was that microswitch I'm 100% it was!

Do you mind if a ask your opinion about the issue i have with my Sansui lately? When i turn it on it's starts spinning, but after a few minutes it stops. Then i wait a few hours and it starts again but a minute or so it stops again. Do you have any idea what would the problem be? thanks ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O711x0i7mKs.html

I'd start by cleaning all the controls and then check the power supply. Watch the video - the microswitch failed on that unit.
