@@MrDengo999 meh, sure its cool to have carbon everything but i dont have that kind of money. where i live, if you drop a bike in the rocks it will get cheesegratered immediately. ive kicked up 10'' diameter rocks mid trail and had them bounce off my downtube and i just kept shredding along if that were carbon, i'd be a bit more cautious

Not sure they can sell many for the prices they ask. $3k Hightower D with SX and basic wheels/suspension or Ripmo AF Deore for only $200 more.

It does look sick, I considered it (ended up getting Mach 6 in stealth) BUT I know after 6 months I'd get sick of it. If they made that pink yellow I'd have gone for it, but no go with the pink.

That’s a 29er tho so you need a Nomad too! Lol Feel free to use this in your defense case when the better half finds out.

It has not won design and innovation award so I don't think so. Santa Cruz only has one award for Stigmata in 2017, Merida on the other hand has had around 12

Completely agree. It's not Nike and Adidas. You can't even see the shock all black, and if it bothers you that much just swap it out.

Santa Cruz has a great warranty program. My friend had an aluminum 26" Nomad. He broke the rear end after ten or so years of beating it like his MX bikes. Santa Cruz Didnt stock that rear end anymore so they gave him a complete new frame! He broke it while on a big trip so he bought a new Nomad CC so he could finish the trip. Santa Cruz is one of the very best brands. A very clued in company. Their bikes are super dialed. I ride with the guy who builds all of their show bikes and some of their wheel builders. I owned a Tazmon way back when. SC's very 1st bike. It was one of the better early FS bikes. Now I like hard tails and singlespeeds. I rarely ever ride my Turner except in the Sierras. Simple is as simple does. I ride much, much more than I wrench! FS bikes have too many moving parts to service and that speed always seems to get me in trouble!

I feel like all frames being made now a days should have some form of swat box. Especially as the lead designer of SC said its one of the things he's most gutted they never thought of. I mean even trek are doing it

And the price, SC are way over priced, the entry level ones have componentry that is well below the level expected for the price, and they are no better than other brands especially for average riders that do not push the bike to the limit where any subtle differences may show if there are any.

@@TheAllEngineering I used to think the same, but after owing the Nomad V4 for over a year i couldn't disagree more. The Nomad was my first bike that i really truly loved. No pedal bob, not much pedal kickback, enough progression but not too much so you can still setup up different shocks, etc. I used to own a YT, Canyon etc because of the parts but now i would definitely choose a high end frame over parts. Plus every time something brakes you get excited to upgrade 😊😅

But i mean cheaper is always better, my comment relied on the price compared to other brands

@@JulienVollweiter If you climb at a sedate pace then pedal bob and inefficiency is not really an issue, but if you power it up then the forward momentum definitely does not match the power being put in. I rode HT and found it really bad when you ramped the power up, at a sedate pace it was ok.

Maybe send them a list of all the parts that you want to run so they can tailor the review just for you.

Maybe it’s the mudguard? The stickers are always facing forward so it’s probably an optical illusion

A large, I'm a bit shorter than you and I have a large frame bike and it fits me very well.

Theres nothing wrong with the latest reverbs.

Still stuck in 2015, eh? The current reverbs are brilliant, and if you don’t want it, just remove it. It’s not like you wouldn’t have money to do that.

@@xx-----------xx873 working in a shop, we keep getting issues with even the earliest models. With much cheaper and more reliable options on the market, i still think that this spec is just plain outdated. Until rockshox understands that hydraulic droppers aren't a thing, i'll keep this exact line of thought. It's just one more thing to bleed. Let's keep oil in our brakes, where it makes an actual difference. Making the post go up faster by half a second won't make anyone choose the reverb over any other reliable cable actuated dropper; that is also probably cheaper.

@@outdoorsonly3399 Yeah that's Personal preference. I personally Just recently bought the Radon Swoop 10.0. You might wanns Check that Out Then. It's a Bit more Like the Canyon Torque but it has 29inch wheels and 170mm Front and Back. Components whise you get a 38 Performance Elite and Fox X2 and XT derailer for Just 3599€. Also very good value if you ask me (comes with Carbon Main frame as Well) ;)

If you want to jump go for nomad! If you want to roll fast go for the enduro. Climbing is really the same. The nomad is more a freerider that you can pedal welland the enduro is more enduro bike that is pretty massive on the descending 👍

Its a conspiracy... or Santa and Specialized consistently put out well developed and thought through products. By the way, commencal meta tr 29 won the pink bike field test for best budget trailbike this year!

@@Will.Tilcke i agree they get new models out every year, but how about giving other companies some airtime too, people entering the mtb world will think they need to buy this expensive ass bikes when there are many other options out there like for example the new Salsa bikes or as i was saying Marin Bikes, the oldest mountain bike company in the world.
