I use the follow: 250 g Black Colour Quick Stain Nigrit "M", for Cold Burnishing - Black Dyeing and Protection of Copper, Bronze and Brass see for example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gVPE8BcSq0U.html
I see. So a think super glue and do you just hold it with your hands till it sets or pin it down with something? And do you wet the planks or use the bender tool?
@@mjolnirasgard3129 I use my fingers to hold the watered planks firmly. The glue sets quickly. Of course, you then have superglue on your fingers, but that is (almost) all off again the next day 😧. It's just important that you move your fingers immediately so that you don't get stuck yourself.
@@mjolnirasgard3129 Since my first planking followed the contour of the decks, I simply followed the curvature of my first planking for my second planking. The soaked wooden strips can be adapted to the curvature without difficulty. The shape of the Santa Maria's hull requires only a slight adjustment in the upper part of the side. I hope I have understood your question correctly and hopefully answered it helpfully.
I bought the dinghy from K.G. Modellbau, who offer a whole range of different tenders. www.gk-modellbau-shop.de/epages/61220080.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61220080/Products/2008-2 I hope the link helps. Have fun building.
