Watching this has made me so nostalgic for when my kids were little. You’re so lucky to be able to record these special moments, but, I am picturing my past Christmas’s and seeing my 52 yr old daughter and 50 yr old son, just like it was yesterday. Thank you, for sharing and helping me to conjure up those magical times in my own life. Currently, I am wiping tears from my smiling face.. Merry Christmas and may 2023 be the best one, yet !!

My Kiddos are now 50, 48, 47,45 (all boys) and a "little surprise" girl now 39. 🎀I looked at my tree (still up) and had an amazing look at all the love, happiness, sweet chaos, and hilarity of Christmas when they were what I used to call "My Short People"🎀I wish I could actually record the movie that is running through my mind remembering the magic of Christmas when your kiddos still " Believed "! After commenting earlier, I dug out my sweet Mama’s photo albums.. and, there were are, frozen in time, myself still young, with the future wide open before me. Ozzy was such a good girl on Christmas morning! She was so happy with everything! Stella is the most laid back little girl! I loved when she hugged her purple pillow toy. You are all so blessed with such a happy, beautiful family! 🥰❤️

Oh my goodness! Ozzy is at my favorite age during Christmas. This age and older is so much fun. They are so invested and with amazing parents like Lo and Tanner she will have amazing memories to pass on to her children too.
I literally smiled and almost cried watching you guys open gifts because it reminded me of Christmas growing up with my parents and older brother. We haven't celebrated Christmas since my dad and 3 year old nephew died 4 years ago. So it makes me happy seeing others experience joy this time of year. ♥️

I thoroughly enjoyed all of this video! I was so impressed with Ozzie for being so thankful for each present she got. And Stella smooshin’ on her squishy pillow was too precious. I love love love that you do what we did in our home on Christmas. We take turns opening presents and they are opened one at a time! We have 5 children so it took us most of the day to get through it all with potty breaks and lunch breaks and snack breaks. But it was a day full of love and appreciation. My 5 are all adults now and they have carried that tradition into their own families. It makes me happy. I hope 2023 is amazing for you all. Much love ❤

Growing up in a church, I believed in Santa and that he came to my house every Christmas. My best friend never had Santa come to her house, nor did her and her sister believe. I'm so glad to see your family do both. You follow God and still let your children experience the magic of Christmas. I can't help but feel my best friend and her sister missed out. As long as children know why we celebrate Christmas I don't see the harm
I agree...a lot of people who have God in their life, go overboard in striving for perfection and "holiness". They don't realize THAT is an idol, and God doesn't want that either! It's all a balance.

When my husband and I had our first Christmas with our oldest child the traditions I brought drove him crazy. They open a present of jammies on Christmas Eve, we had to leave out reindeer food and make footprints once they were in bed, but the ultimate annoyance was the fact that I hide a roll of wrapping paper from him and the kids and wrap every present in the stocking with it . (Santa wouldn't have the same wrapping paper as us.) All but the one present go under the tree once they're in bed except the Christmas Eve one and Santa never brought any of the big gifts. Mom and Dad get the credit for those and it never created hurt feelings with family that couldn't provide the same. He's FINALLY almost used to it now that our youngest is almost grown! LOL! Watching you guys is truly heartwarming. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Happy holidays!
I love how you guys don't go overboard and also take the time to open your gifts one at a time. Ozzy will love that camera! I got my daughter a V-tech kids camera when she was @ 5 or 6 and she loved it. She's 17 now and rediscovered it while cleaning out her closet. We're having so much fun looking at her old pics and "vlogs" she made when she was little!

She would get out and check under the hood and slam the hood like you would on a real car!!! Thank you guys for sharing your Christmas and allowing me to take a trip down memory lane! SAFETY WARNING: Please make sure you have a safety lock on your oven door or an anti tipping bracket installed on the wall behind the oven. Sadly, a child got seriously injured, maybe worst, from opening the oven door and standing on it to see what was on the stove. Please let the other Beeston family and anyone else with young children know because I hate to hear of babies getting harmed in these accidents. 😢
To add to this too any ikea furniture is also super dangerous. There is a documentary about it but basically they don’t provide the stabilizing brackets and they always fall over especially when children are involved.
I was just sharing this information because seeing Ozzy in the kitchen reminded me how curious children are and how they want to help then I remembered the story of the child standing on the oven door and how the oven tipped. Unfortunately, many new ovens now include the anti tipping bracket but most are not installed. My intent was to share some knowledge I have to hopefully prevent this from happening to any more children it was done with love and not judgement.
