Your voice and singing is always the best. But you manage also the visual presentation in this one take situation brilliant. ❤️ The song reminds me a bit on 70ies because of 3 reasons. First - I associate Santana ( because of his first big success „Samba Pa Ti“) always with the 70ies, although this song is from 2005. Second - the picture of the cars seen in the TV-Screen behind you also remind me on the 70ies. Third - the mood of the song is in my opinion 70ies in New York. Maybe I‘m completely wrong, but it is my imagination. I told you in a comment before that I often think in video scenes by hearing a song from you and here I see you walking through the streets of New York and Central Park, in early spring, sipping on a coffee to go, doing a little shopping, sitting on a bench in Central Park. I‘m sure someday you will tell me your impressions when you will have visited New York and have done all the things I have imagined. Beatrice,you are one of only very few artists who are able to evoke in my mind such video scenes - and you are by far the best. I consider this as one of your greatest talents. You are able to create new worlds in the imagination of your listener and this is something only great artists can. Taylor Swift is another example, but with her it works mostly over the lyrics. With you it works over your voice and timbre and your whole appearance, you catch me with that and the lyrics are less important … or let me put it this way: Taylor creates moods mostly through lyrics, you create moods mostly through your voice and performance. In the end it is not that necessary. Important is THAT you create moods with your singing and this you do to me every week in the most loveliest way. Back in the 70's was a different vibe, lying on the bed after smoking a joint with the black light on, black light posters on the walls and listening to all the great bands but couldn't see them, except for the album cover. One of my most favorite singers in a long time!

I think the reason everyone immediately loves her voice is because there are so few flaws. Through her entire range she can create at will what seems to be an endless depth and variety of overtones, tambre and variety. This is what conveys the emotion directly to listeners in addition to providing the musical style differences that she also seems to effortlessly create. It is quite an amazing combination. I studied music at university 50 years ago and cannot recall seeing anything quite like her since.
