This is gorgeous. Carlos Santana must be one of the very best guitar players in the world. I have never heard a bad or even mediocre piece from him yet.
One of the most beautiful masterpieces ever to be recorded. Masterful by both masters. I am biased to Carlos, but she makes this a masterpiece! Wherever he missed she filled, and vice versa. Amazing! One of my fave songs. Ever! How can this get old? Omg! Reminds me of my girls, ever time. That’s the magic of it.
I`ve got an interview in which Carlos says "For me playing my guitar is the feeling that every of my hairstrains lifts up all over my body. It´s like praying to the Lord, making love - or both at the same time. For me playing my guitar is for a 100% filled with entusiasm, yes, entusiasm is what I count on most."

Yes he is so fantastic in concert truly gifted like Clapton Hendricks Prince can u imagine all of them jammim together thx Lord for such talented people.
We all agree that this one of the best covers of George Harrison's Classic and unforgettable compositions. I doesn´t matter where we come from, or how old we are, but this IS beautiful! so let´s share the LOVE, the MUSIC, and LIFE!
I love Carlos Santana's music so much, and India has a beautiful voice, fits so well with this song. George Harrison was a legend for writing such a beautiful song, RIP George x
Though a musician myself, still, this song brings tears to my eyes, I don't know why. This one is the best rendition of George Harrison's composition, not only the guitars, the vocals also have done total justice to the emotion of the song. The dead vocalist inside me starts crying along with this song. Don't mind people, it's just too difficult to type as I cry.
As a Fellow Musician and Sound Engineer I have to Agree. His Style Took Harrison's Song and Shot it to the Stars! Santana's Guitaring and Style had so much Emotion in it. The Vocalist also does a great Number on this song too.
2021 still can’t get enough of this tune.. I was a child when this came out and I can appreciate every bit of this song still. “Yo Santana you making that guitar cry”❤️🔥💯. Bring this kind of music back please!! Not even sure if I can call the new age crap music 🤷🏽♀️ Santana truly Iconic
My God.....id never forget this moment in my life.....its such a beautiful song and the feeling of such peaceful and happy vibes takes you to a place where you lose yourself...... Carlos, my God how magical he makes me feel
Well we all are different. Don't bother about those who have different taste. Enjoy the company of the 14409 (or whatever the number is when you read this) who like this song instead - as I do! And I not only like this song - I play it again and again!
it makes you turn off the lights and let the music take you to where you feel so comfortable. there's this feeling of suddenly being rejuvenated by the song itself.
Damn Santana blew the stop all the way up. I thought until this Prince did the best cover at the R & R Hall of Fame but this is just next level ax artistry 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful! Carlos Santana, making his guitar gently weep, India Arie, with her sweet, soulful voice, singing, and Yo-Yo Ma, internationally known as one of the best cellists. Simply, the finest!
I'm an older parent (58) and my youngest was four when this came out. He and I were in the car waiting for his big brother to come out of school and I threw in this CD. The second that Yo Yo Ma pulled his bow arouss his cello my son asked what the sound was. It was his musical ah ha moment. I thought he'd choose the cello when he hit 6th grade but he chose the viola. In 9th grade he dropped the viola and picked up one of my guitars that I had laying around the house should one of my boys give it a try, and he's now a senior and has gotten quite good. I cannot hear this song and not think about that sweet moment that started it all. My other son plays violin and mandolin and I am so thankful that my boys have an unending love of music, all thanks to Santana.
A guitarist who can make his guitar sound like a Mandolin is absolutely AWESOME. I may be old, but I LOVE music & have that right. It's LATE in my life, but I love it more now than EVER :) Music keeps me going - keeps us all going. It's one beautiful gift we share to lift our spirits when they need lifting, or to help us express sadness when we're down. It's all there - this very SPECIAL language of music. We ALL agree upon this One True Thing. That is a MIRACLE to me!
SANTANA is the inspiring source of thousands aruond the world. He started a new way to play guitar and in my particular point of view he inspired some of the GIGANTS as SATRIANI.
Man,I swear this guy just keeps getting better as he grows older.i for one hope goes on living for a very long time. I saw him at a summer jam at Kansas city and was blown away at how masterful he handled his music all while making it appear effortless, definitely a virtuoso!!!!
Carlos Santana just amazing. I bought his first 4 albums as they came out and will never forget the influence he had on me back in the early days of classic rock. This is a wonderful cover of a beloved tune.
My sweet, sweet Lord!!! What a magnificent cover of this rock classic. The voices of angels the guitar of a true guitar god & virtuoso pay homage to the spirit of one of history's greatest song writers. As a huge and long admiring fan of both Carlos and George I can't believe it's taken me over 5 years to discover this - my life has been poorer than it needed to be for at least 5 years! santanaofficial Thanks so much for this gem of a post. R.I.P. George.
To Play Guitar Like This - would be Heaven! To play any instrument with your whole heart and soul is a GIFT. I so admire musicians because of their ability to express themselves uniquely through their music. Words don't come out right for me when I speak; musicians don't really NEED TO SPEAK - how wonderful :) This song and this music is beyond beautiful. Maybe there is a better way to describe this spectacular talent in another language? All I know is I DO L O V E THIS !

After a long night of serving drinks to drunks, it's time to come home, kick back, put on a little Santana, Indie Arie, Yoyo Ma...and let the night turn to morning! ... Good night everyone!
Definitely a great version, I don't know which is my favorite, I've heard so many great ones, he did make this his own. I love them all!! My all time favorite song PERIOD.

Absolutely fantastic! I didn't even know this version existed, until just now! I'm a Beatles purist, but I love Santana! Both he, and the vocalists do this justice! Bluesy but great!
I DON'T Believe this man's talent - If this were the very last song he EVER played, he would surely have gone way over the top of his abilities. It's TOO BEAUTIFUL to describe ! Bravo Santana. I didn't know you were THIS great; I always knew had a special sound, but NOT THIS AMAZING. Thank you for this beautiful gift you've given to us!

Santana - While my guitar gently weeps. What an apt title for this lovely song. You could describe this song of his While my guitar gently weeps because it sounds as though it’s weeping. . He gives his all does this man Carlos. Excellent music!!!

Always been a fan of Santana since I started listening to his music when I was a child in my hometown (Puebla, México) then at age of 18 moved to Los Angeles CA. and I have been going to his concerts in LA and one time in Vegas. love him and his music with all My heart. I hope he is fully recovered. Best wishes for the whole Santana family and guns.
@Wolf Stone I also didn't know it was a Beetles song! I think this song has to do with Kubo's deep connection to his Shamisen (string instrument) and how through it, Kubo expressed his deepest desires, emotions and imagination. George, the Beatles member who wrote the song, expressed his own deepest desires, imagination through his guitar in a spiritual way and so the two sort of shared that expression through their instruments. Giving credit to karipr88 for this interpretation- the song itself is potentially about seeing the capacity humanity has to open up to love to every human on earth, but the ability is unawakened. That around us "the floor needs sweeping" the world is filled with issues that we need to take responsibility to take care of and clean up. Kubo left the shelter of his home and was met with a divide within his family that deeply saddened him, but through his own will to love was able to pull through. I hope that helps! I think the song was a great choice for the film!
Your music is my motivation in these tough times we are in all as one. We will strive and rebuild. Everyone stay safe and Stay Home. 2020 let's unite as one. #Blessed
Dana Mari not the best audio quality you 've ever heard, but totally worth it though :) enjoy : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bt94nXinWqs.html
All the great guitarists (that choose to play it) can really tear up this song. Every version from the pros (and lots of lesser known guitarists) are just amazing, This must be one of the most "feel it" guitar songs ever written. I think everyone who listens hard to the guitar in this song is "pulled in" in just a few bars, then cannot believe it for the rest of the song.
