I understand english, but she made me feel like I am stupid.

As an IT professional and database administrator myself, I'm impressed with how Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago defined "data warehousing" in the most simple way that non technical viewers would understand, and how she related it to the case. This really shows how wide is the scope of her intelligence. I can really feel that she reads a lot and has learned so many things.

My professor who is a graduate in Diliman, according to him; Miriam was one of his professor. He said she was really intimidating, in fact she was so intimidating that when she called my prof an Idiot, he said "Thank you ma'am" and walk away.

She was the reason why I wanted to enter the college of law but the killings of criminal lawyers during the time I was deciding where to go for university stopped me from choosing law (I was a teenager so I was fearful for my life 😂 thinking in advance) so I ended up choosing Nursing (but I came to love my profession after doing my first OJTs and believe that I am destined to be in this profession because I survived it and is now working as a Nurse for 12 years). I admire her so much I do believe if she was elected president earlier she must’ve done a lot. PRRD admires her a lot even. And I admire him in turn for knowing that MDS is a brilliant prosecutor.

she set the standard so high that even a seasoned senator will appear like her student or apprentice. i could only imagine how the senate today would look like if she's still around. her sarcastic laughs, piercing yet honest remarks, scholarly insights thrown at some of the newly elected jokers and dancers in the senate. she's so rare. it wud probably take another lifetime to have someone like MDS in the senate.

When I was in college, my professor in Philippine Constitution was Miriam’s student in UP Manila. Miriam used to tell the students “if you don’t have something in your brain, have at least a book in your hand” I’d still laugh to this day how my professor told the story. He was Miriam’s favorite student back then. My professor is ranked 1 as the best PolSci prof in my University. 💚 Miriam is the best President we never had.
