Can't wait to be in Santorini in 3 weeks and I will do exactly what you did, start the hike in Oia back to Fira, since I will be staying in Fira. Did you hike the Path of the Gods in the Amalfi? I am thinking it might be a good hike as well and it will be my next destination...
Your going to love the hike. No we didn't do the Path of the God's. It's on our bucketlist. We did Cingue Terra in Italy. That was great. Enjoy your trip. Thanks for watching
Love this!! Santorini will be a stop on upcoming cruise (March 3rd) and would love to hike this trail. Don't think my partner will be up for the whole hike and not sure timing will permit but you mentioned we can hop off the trail and take bus back to Fira at several locations? Weather should be alot cooler in early March! Hoping we can do at least part of it. Looks spectacular!! Great job!
You can do as much or as little of the trail as you want. There are hills. But you can hike parts of the ridge if you want. Closer to the 2 main towns are easiest parts
