We spent a day in Santorini, Greece during the 7-night Greek Isles Cruise.
The cruise docked at Fira, and we took the gondola to the top. After spending half a day at Fira, we wanted to go to Oia by bus. But we waited for so long and no bus in sight. Eventually we found a ride to Oia.
There was no Uber but you may find plenty of "taxi" drivers offering tourists rides near major attractions.
It was also very hot and crowded in July so be sure to bring water. Fira is less crowded than Oia, at where the signature landscapes are located.
Overall Santorini is absolutely beautiful! I especially enjoyed Fira. It was less touristy compared to Oia, and the views are also amazing. The white hotels/houses/restaurants are super cute!
I hope to go there again and stayed for a few days next time :)
