"Hello! That was an amazing video with lots of valuable information. I'm traveling to Santorini with my two kids. Did you fly from Venice? Also, could you please tell me where the Greek wedding show was filmed? Thank you so much!"
Hey! No, we flew from Sicily. If you look up “The Big Greek Wedding Show” in viator, you’ll see the show in Thera. I think it’s the only theater in there.
Hi that was very informative vedio Thanks Could you plz help , soon i'll be travelling to greece with my 18 mo Is it stroller accessible to every location
Great video, it explains the place well. My only Greek experience was with Navy runners of Sigonella. October of 1979 we went to Athens and did the marathon. It was quite good but we were sleeping by the flightline of the Athens Airport to catch our flight back to Sigonella the next day when someone woke us to say an airliner was burning. I went outside and saw it and thought it was terrorists. Turned out it was a Swiss Air flight with over 100 doctors that had overshot the runway. 14 people died and radioactive isotopes and industrial gold were missing. It was years later through the use of the internet I learned what happened.
@5starfamilyadventures a total of about 18 years 7 months active with Navy and Air Force combined. I went to Sigonella with a reserve unit also in 87 or 88 and enjoyed reconnecting with Sicilians I knew there. A Navy journalist and photographer went to Athens also so my picture made it into the base newspaper. Things that happened in Sigonella back then seemed interesting and I enjoy your videos of the new times.
I appreciate your honest review. I totally agree with you. My husband and I were in Santorini years ago for our honeymoon. Our two nights there was more than enough. Going back again in July with our kids while on our cruise. Not looking forward to the crowd....
Well it will be nice to experience it with the kids but at least you know exactly what to expect this time. The food is amazing! Eat, take some pictures and enjoy the view from the ship 😊
Santorini's streets are like old treasures that can't be changed. Now If your flight's late, it's not the island's fault; it's the airlines messing up. And those donkeys? Who knows how you decided they have psychological problems? It's just part of what makes the island interesting, I guess!
I never said my flight was late. I said it was a late flight, it’s not a complaint. Because we travel with children I’m sharing with other travelers with children that Santorini is not stroller friendly, meaning not the easiest place to bring a stroller to. And the donkeys? Common, hundreds of pounds of tourists up and down all day in that heat is no fun.
