Meus parabenz ao comandante, devemos ser orgulhosos de saber que existem profissionais capazes assim, e darmos o verdadeiro reconhecimento. Sou seu fã.
Quality flying, quality touchdown, center line and all, you don't get any better than that. Oh and the touchdown was so smooth that it is comparable to the smooth a330 landings, and since the a320's landing gear makes it even harder to perform a smooth progressive touchdown, this is really really impressive stuff. Thanks for sharing Captain, my hat's down to you sir.
Ha, last knight I was thinking I had not seen a post from you for awhile, and I watched a few of you old ones to get my fix! Last summer I met a guy from Columbia who works up here in Alaska in the summer, so he may have flown with you! Lovely day, lovely weather and wonderful landing!
Nossa! PERFEITO!!!! O alinhamento após a curva realmente merece palmas! Eu tenho 14 anos, e meu sonho é ser piloto comercial! Comandante, qual o "pior" aeroporto: SBSP ou SBRJ? Abraço, e obrigado por disponibilizar esses videos para nós!
Like a bird with sore feet. :) Is that still the GoPro? Very nice video. Once day, a camera showing the main instrument you watch to get it so perfect! Or is that skill? :) Thanks rodrigodavi!
This thing's crazy, that airport has to be scary, specially in the night during the approach knowing that you're a hundred feet above the water. Awesome video though
How do you manage the vertical guidance on such an approach? I'm supposing that because of the constant turn you can't use ILS, can't use the PAPI and you can't have a distance to runway threshold to do a stepped descent. Do you keep a constant V/S after you start the turn and maybe correct a little bit when you are aligned with the runway?
As far i know "Minimum" indicate MDA, minumum decision altitude, 100 above MDA. This APP i belive was visual and manual, in ILS landings the MDA is about 200/300 ft, as this one was visual the MDA was over 1000 ft.
Can anyone tell me why no airline pilot ever makes a video wearing a headcam on their head? So many use them but they always put them somewhere like in this video and leave it there. Is there like a policy prohibiting pilots from wearing them on the head during landings or something?
Sorry but you aren't sure, sir ! I can prove to you... Watch this video, is about a Brazilian airliner pilot from PASSAREDO Linhas Aéreas , a great video imho... vimeo 39765483 Cheers !
