I like him for his art and Hijo aaja ka kura was a really good show at that time but I can't believe he advocates for Monarchy over Democracy. He can say bad things about the characters of so called leaders of our country but it doesn't in any way justify a family running the country. No person is born superior to another. No one should get a huge privilege of running a nation just by getting birth in one particular family, regardless of his character/knowledge/attributes. He mentioned some good things of old days but he turned a blind eye to all the discriminations, poverty, conservative traditions, lack of infrastructure every where except things around Royal families. They made citizens to carry their bikes and car and drove around, build wider roads in front of their palace while people had to walk for days for trivial things. General public were like slaves to them, praising them, treating them like a god, singing song to them and live life in fear and retribution if anything wrong said or done. There was no free speech there was no support system for an individual to showcase their talent and lack of opportunities. So whoever thinks Monarchy was better are thinking with very narrow mind and try to look at a whole picture. Things are not perfect now but at least the base is right, we need right people in right place to excel. Every individual should have aspiration, that they can bring big change in people life and they have the opportunity to get to the highest position in country if he/she works hard for it. Hopeful that good days are ahead for Nepal.
