Rarely agree with Drew, but it does seem like Sanya was clout chasing. She got her foot in the door from an invite from Drew and bee lined straight to Kandi and Kenya and in doing so decided Drew was dead weight. Although I didn't see anything Drew did to her but try and being friendly. And I respect Sanya's achievement regarding being a gold medalist, but don't try and diminish Drew's accomplishment.

Well yeah she just joined the show, a lot of great housewifes were not household names. Most didn't/don't have a career and now they are names people know and love.

I'm so proud of Kenya because there's a whole lot of things she could have said about Marlo concerning hair but Kenya kept it classy. It's so sad how jealous Marlo is of Kenya in every way. Kenya and Marlo both had a bad start in life, they both had problematic mother's. They both didn't have the best mom's but in Kenya's situation her grandmother (Thank God) totally changed the trajectory of her entire life. Marlo is jealous of everything about Kenya including her hair, her beauty, Kenya's success, Kenya's salary even that fact that she has a child. It's so sad and pathetic to keep coming for someone for no reason. All because of your insane jealousy of them. Marlo you're not Nene so please stop it! For many years Nene was actually funny. You are not! The Mary K wig joke is not funny because we all know she has long beautiful hair underneath. Kenya was spot on. Marlo has no identity and low self-worth, which is why she’s ridiculously superficial and doesn’t know how to be a true friend. When she tries to ‘read’ people, she always goes for the lowest blows because she’s unhappy... I was a fan of Sonya during her track career, but she brings no value to the show except a contrived beef with Drew. I’m confused by it; she has no legitimate reason to be upset with Drew. Rescinding the invitation was tacky as hell and made no sense. I think she was trying to score points with the other women, which is immature and mean-girlish. Moreover, it’s great to be proud of her Jamaican roots, but the references to her culture every damn episode is overkill. She needs to get a real storyline, or this will definitely be her last season.
@S B It’s a cultural difference. My ex was from Trinidad, and the only time we argued is when it involved his family being overly involved. His parents were always around and didn’t believe in (and therefore didn’t respect) certain boundaries. Additionally, his extended family would visit for 2 weeks at a time and had an unspoken understanding that he would pay for EVERYTHING. When I would complain to him, it was a waste of my time. I love my family just as much but hell no. Needless to say, he and I mutually agreed that nothing about our beliefs were going to change and so we amicably broke up. Neither American culture or Caribbean culture is better or worse than the other- just very different in some ways. It just comes down to respect.

I guess because I’m not a huge sports fan I didn’t know who Sanya was until this show NGL but I did know Drew before this show- & I’m just going to say that. Being a 4 time Olympic gold medalist is dope too no lie, I just think both ladies are great in their own right so I didn’t like Sanya or her family downing Drew.

I didn’t understand it either but I watched the all the episodes over again and it seems like she don’t like drew fir the things she was doing. The first thing was put her hands in sharee face at Kenya baby party. The second incident was not being real about her workout drop it with drew. So Sanya is saying she not that type of person to be around a person like drew. She don’t rock like that which still don’t make sense. It really just seem like she looking for a fight. What I don’t like is it seems like nobody never sticks up for drew. The only person that did was Kenya.

She said well the difference between me and Kenya is that my husband stayed. Drew Sidora was a real r&b artist back then when she played as herself on The Game. She was the first female r&b singer signed to Miami's Slip N Slide records along with her label mates Trick Daddy, Trina, Plies, etc. She came out with that song called Juke It because people always compared it to another Ciara joint. Drew has been in series and movies like That's So Raven, Step Up, Blessed & Cursed, Girlfriends, White Chicks, Crazy Sexy Cool:TLC Story as T-Boz, Without A Trace and still is playing in movies and shows. So Sanya needs to put some respect on her name and find a real storyline instead of being involved in Drew and Sheree's situation that had nothing to do with her

Understand well, when you are in the presence of your parents you will be treated like a child. Who’s Sanya? Seriously though, I’ve never heard of her before RHOA but I have heard of Drew Sidora. What Sanya has accomplished was great however, Drew didn’t say Sanya was clout chasing her but other cast members. Sanya admitted that she’s known Kandi, Kenya and Sheree for a couple of years however, they didn’t know her well enough to bring her on the show. One thing Kandi is good for is introducing people to the show (ie. Shamea, Shamari, Lena, Demetria all came on the show via Kandi). When Sanya told Kandi and Kenya she felt closest with them they were both like “really?” I don’t like when people’s parents get involved and start saying stuff because it’s unfair because you have to remain respectful as they dog you out. Sanya’s mom is acting like she wants to be the “new Momma Joyce. Plus, It’s not just Drew who thinks Sanya is clout chasing. Marlo, Kenya and to a certain extent Kandi are looking at how thirsty Sanya is acting.
Just because you know one and not the other doesn’t mean sanya is not more accomplished/famous…it says more about you more than anything. Alot of people who watch this show don’t really care about other things, like people who world their entire lives to be the best in the world and bring home a medal for their country. She still commentates the big races going on around the world. Drew was not even the main actress on the BET show that got canceled. Accomplished people are not clout chasers. Sanya inviting Kandi and Kenya to the photo shoot seemed like a great business move. Both Kandi and Kenya seem to have organic chemistry with Sanya and maybe that's why they like her. Sanya only said she has medals when people say she's clout chasing or using somebody. I think Sanya's a great addition to the show, her family dynamics is intriguing, we get to see her entrepreneur side, and she's holding her own when someone talks about her. I haven't seen her throw shade that wasn't true.
'To have clout is to have influence or power. In popular culture, people with clout are seen as popular and cool'. Everyone on RHOA has a measure of clout but some more than the other. When Drew bragged that 'a certain King of the NBA was winning games listening to her music' that is a prime example of chasing after clout. She didn't say 'I dated the King of the NBA' period. She wanted to APPEAR 'bigger or taller' to the ladies by her association with 'The King' with all that EXTRA fluff.
She didn’t brag she participated in friendly conversation at dinner with the girls where she was asked a question about what celebrities you have dated and she responded. Her life, her story to share. It didn’t just come out of no where it was a response to friendly fun light hearted conversation at dinner
