Roberts Bakery required a more efficient method of processing customer deliveries from the main manufacturing plant in Northwich. Using a manual and paper-based system was clearly costing time and money for Roberts.

We implemented a complete customer delivery mobile solution using our SAP Proof of Delivery App on the Honeywell Movilizer platform. The entire process was automated and included functionality such as vehicle checks, customer order changes, returns and promotional marketing.
The new technology has given the drivers better control over their day to day business processes and outcomes, removing manual process including the vehicle check list.
All real time data is now sent directly back to SAP for immediate analysis, enabling operators to take action and invoice without any delay. The onboarding process and training was an important part of the solution, to ensure positive platform adoption within the team.
Robert’s has seen a complete removal of manual paper work as everything is now recorded using a mobile device with the data transferring to and from SAP using the Honeywell Movilizer platform. The application included integration into Co-pilot to provide Sat Navigation for GPS tracking, sign-on-glass and image capture. As a result of removing and eliminating duplication of work from the customer service team, Roberts Bakery now help customers more efficiently, improving the company’s customer service levels.
