SAP SD : Material Determination / Material substitution process and Configuration 

Hi All, is material determination different to material substitution? if yes what is the difference? I want to achieve material determination through material substitution in S4 Hana

Is it possible to use substitute material for the material which have different uom . Or for example I am selling X with a pack of 10 but if that is not exist in the inventory I want to sell Y which is 12 in each pack?? Them how we can manage the shipping with different uom!

How can we capture the data or display how many material substitution have happened through out in a country ? To display how this feature has benefitted ?
