Sir, Your explanations are quite helpful but here I want to know when exactly this contract and scheduled agreement comes in a business process. Also, what is the need of scheduled agreement and how it's different from contracts though you have explained the difference is schedule line. I request you to kindly shed some light on my questions.

Commercially Contracts are agreement with the customer that the customer will order certain amount of goods/service within specified period. In case of Value contract,the agreement is for specific amount for certain materials within specified period while quantity contract contains quantity of the material.Both contracts does not have delivery dates.Hence there is no schedule line in contract. You can create release order when customer orders against value contract while scheduling agreement can be created if customer provides delivery dates.
