Hi , I'm sam (french) english soso... Can you tell me how much for the train and the telepheric ? Becouse i will be going to Sapa on next june. And hotel?
Your English is Amazing! - Unfortunately the prices seem to change pretty quickly but I remember it being pretty expensive :/ The website should have updated pricing though!
Thanks for sharing the town itself as like you mentioned, everyone shares the mountain scenery (which is always worth watching). It is a cute town and I love that huge lake. But you also showed more parts of Fansipan, which is cool to see.
All your videos have fantastic editing, other vloggers should learn from you. You make it more about the destination and just the right amount about you. Well done! Hello from Vancouver, Canada.
I was in Sapa in 2017 … but I stayed in a hotel in the middle of the race fields up in the mountains Topas Ecolodge very nice place… Plus it gave me more opportunity to hang out with the people that live in the villages nearby
As long as Vietnam is still ruled by the oppressive and exploitive Communist regime, her potential remains greatly diminished. For any 1% that wants to stay, 99% of the population wants to get out, and many have risked their lives doing just that (for example, 39 doomed lives found in UK container truck recently on the news, and that's only what's been reported), unfortunately. Yet another shocking and also recent example is that during the Covid pandemic when almost all countries assisted their citizens with financial aids in one form or another, the corrupt and murderous Vietnamese Commie regime saw it just as another opportunity not to help but to exploit its ruled citizens even more, essentially making money over the corpses of its citizens by presumably killing at least 30-50K of them, due to grossly misdiagnoses and being thrown into barbwired unhygenic living quarters for isolation, so that they had to sleep on concrete floor, even next to filled trashcans, with inadequate toilet, food, water, or medicine, like animals (searching hard enough, one is able to see shocking video clips on Facebook though the regime tried hard to crack down the leaks by Vietnamese citizen journalists), with the fake nostril Covid test kits, mislabeled as approved by World Health Organization (WHO) in Việt Á scandal, colluded by at least 4 different government agencies (Y Tế , Khoa Học, Công Nghệ, Quân y) and the top Politburo members, including Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Phạm Minh Chính, Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. Murderous Vietnamese Commie regime even had a thug murdered Christian pastor Giuse Trần Ngọc Thanh, like it has done with many other pastors across the nation. There is a reason why the current Commie Vietnam ranks at the bottom of the world in freedom of speech, (true) freedom of religion, and freedom of the press, barely above Commie China and Commie North Korea. There is no true freedom of religion in Commie Vietnam, as this corrupt Vietnamese Commie regime only authorized the fake organizations headed by Commie monks, many of whom were Commie Party officials, and those religious organizations not approved to be infiltrated by them or headed by their Commie agents are accused of malicious and nonexistent crimes and banned, with innocent religious leaders arrested and jailed, as in the recent case with Thiền Am Bên Bờ Vũ Trụ, a harmless Buddhist meditation monastery, for simply having many followers (hence, more influences that the regime fears it can't control) than the Commie Party's officially approved ones. Similarly, its passport ranks at the bottom, 89th out of 111 countries for a reason, barely above North Korea 104th rank. even below many African nations. For comparison, South Korea is at 2nd rank. That's what Republic of South Vietnam would have likely been ranked among at least the top 10 had it not been invaded and occupied by the North Vietnamese Commie terrorists, aided by Commie Soviet and Commie China. Search "cuop dat dan" (meaning "land-robbing of citizens") to see millions of footages across the country from North to South, spanning for decades, dated back to Ho Chi Minh's bloody land reform 1953-1956 that killed nearly 1 million North Vietnamese in only 4 years, or 250K people brutally slaughtered in torturous painful deaths (like being shot, stabbed, mutilated while being alive, or heads being plowed over by water buffaloes while bodies being buried underground) each year on average to rob their lands and homes. Even today, if the rightful owners refuse to have their homes or lands robbed, the ruthless Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime simply jail or massacre them, have tractors run over their bodies or openly assassinate them in their own homes. When it comes to robbing, these barbarian Vietnamese Commie bandits even prey on each other, just as the recent case with then 84-year-old Mr. Lê Đình Kình, a 55-year-Commie Party veteran from Dong Tam, near Hanoi, that got shot dead at 3am in his own home by the Vietnamese Commie terrorist regime. When his wife Mrs. Dư Thị Thành refused to lie about the incident as ordered, the Vietnamese Commie terrorist police brutally tortured her (see more details from "dandongtam" on Facebook). The corrupt Vietnamese Commie government officials routinely dine on lavish gold-plated Salt Bae steak $100K per meal with blood money not just from taxpayers but also from robbed-lands and robbed homes recently drew international condemnations, while many Vietnamese citizens, including elderlies in their 60's and 70's as well as kids as young as 6's to 16's selling lottery tickets on the streets to survive on $2-3 per day. Even Phạm Nhật Vượng the richest man in Vietnam (via his VinGroup) made the bulk of his wealth mainly by colluding with the barbarian Vietnamese Commie regime in selling their robbed-lands from Vietnamese citizens. Travelers to Vietnam in her current form (not at all like this before the Communists took over) should keep this in mind. Behind the beauty of the land and smiling faces at popular tourist destinations, there are a lot of darkness and tears, bloods, sweats, sorrow, horror, and sufferings all over the country.
@@musicful7036 If you’re not a budget traveler is very expensive I was there a week and I think I end up paying like $4’200 also stayed in a suite bungalow it was $551 a night
Great review ... but do we still need to use the term Indochina? Many Vietnamese died to remove the horrors of French colonialism inflicted on them. This terms is still insulting to Vietnamese. It's the equivalent of referring to New York and New Netherland ... Just staying. Otherwise beautiful review with fantastic photography
We we're unsure too. But it turns out Indochina i just used as a term to reference multiple countries ina specific region. Rather than saying Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam. Theres even multiple local companies baring the name too!
You were so lucky to check-out the Fansipan when the weather was so nice . It was so sunny and clear that you were able to admire the gorgeous scenery and see all the buildings and structures up there . BTW , the cable car in Sapa is not the longest in VN . The longest one in VN and in the world is actually in Phu Quoc Island ( 8 km long and 27 minutes ride from the main Island of Phu Quoc to the terminal station on Hon Thom Island ). VN is known for owning the largest number of cable cars in the world . You can find them at many touristic and religious sites there , such as Phu Quoc Island , Vung Tau , Dalat , Nha Trang , Da Nang (Bana hills) , Tây Ninh ( the Holy Black Lady mountain ) , Huong Son ( Perfume Pagoda ) , Nui Câm mountain , Tây Thiên mountain & Yên Tu mountain ( the 5 famous Buddhist sanctuaries in VN ) , Halong Bay , Sapa and soon Mâu Son mountain . VN still has many hidden gems to offer to tourists . Unfortunately it`s still underrated by international travellers . Hopefully when the health situation in the world will get under control , more people will come to visit our country
We know how much Vietnam has to offer! a month there was definitely not long enough after all the recommendations we've received on here! we missed so many places 😟
Hello, I am planning to visit Sa Pa this February and would love to do some hiking in less touristy areas or less busy trails. Do you have any to recommend? You seem very knowledgeable of the area.
Go trekking in Muong Hoa valley , the Love and Silver Waterfalls . Visit the Hill tribe villages ( Taphin , Lao Chai , Giang Ta Chai ) , the Heaven Gate and O Quy Ho passes . Check-out the hill tribe market in Bac Ha district on week-end (It's more authentic than the night market in Sapa) . Climb up the Fansipan with a local guide if you don't want to take the cable car . Check-out the glass bridge . It's still cold in Sapa in February . Why don't you wait till March or April to visit that region ?
Like the music we used in this vlog? Check out our Sapa Playlist here: www.epidemicsound.com/campaign/community-playlist/?playlist=x9ikfnfo1l9fjpvivf2oa8ed6kilwsgg You'll get one month for FREE if you sign up to Epidemic Sound using our link plus you will be helping to supprt this channel!
Love your video 👍💗. Vietnam is a small country but has so much to do and see. Is what you thought Vietnam would be like and Vietnam you are exploring now the same or different?
We started off in Thailand so coming to Vietnam we thought would be similar. But we found each town in Vietnam so different from each other! but we loved them all!
I think all info is still on their website! Best to check there for updated costs but we paid 100k for the funicular and 750k for the cable car per person!
Welcome to Vietnam! From May 16, all restrictions on covid-19 related to visitors entering Vietnam will be completely lifted. NO Covid test. NO Health declaration.
I watched all of your videos and found that both of them love cities with classical architecture, the next destination is Da Nang, on the mountain there is a miniature city with French architecture.visit bà nà hills nhé
This is one of the places we missed! 😟we have heard lots of recommendations about Da Nang and it will be right near the top of our list when we come back to Vietnam!
Agreed with the noise! Vietnamese are absolutely the loudest people I’ve ever met 😂 But Sa Pa is a tourist town for Vietnamese too and they love exploring their own country which I find super heartwarming ❤️
Hello Jordan and Emily, wonderful video! Question..... as far as COVID stuff, what has been your experience? I was in Vietnam in 2011 and it was wonderful, of course lots of tourists. I'm guessing there are much less tourists now because of COVID. The ride in the cable car thing seemed to be pretty much empty yes? Thanx! Todd
Everything definitely seems a bit quieter- hard for us to know for sure though because this was our first time in Vietnam! Yes! The cable car up and down we’re both pretty empty!
My family is heading Sapa tmr, and I'm so glad to watch ur videos now, you guys are both so cute and the vlog is amazing, hope my coming trip would be memorable
Please tell me which country are you from? Thank you for bringing the image of Vietnam (a country devastated by war) to the world. I will not regret your channel subscribe button
All that yelling and shouting at the top is Vietnamese having a civil conversation, that's just the way they communicate 😂 How much did you pay for the cable car etc?
The price for cable car are too expensive and make the trip to Fansipan really not worth it. This is Vietnam and the price of cable car are more 3x daily wage here.
@@JordanandEmily Have you visited Ha Giang? The place is also great. If possible, please go back to my hometown Ninh Binh. Ninh Binh has a lot of beautiful scenery it used to be the capital of Vietnam 1000 years ago.
@@JordanandEmily lool. It could also be a real name from one of the indigenous tribes. You can usually tell when it’s a two or more syllable word like: Saigon, Pleiku, Sapa. Vietnamese words has just one syllable that are combined to make a new word. Can’t wait to go in a few months, thanks for the vid, y’all did a great job.
Hi Jordan and Emily, Amazing Video about SAPA. i have plan go there too ... what is perfect month go to SAPA, coz on video i see the weather it clear no cloud and rain. ❤🔥🔥🔥
Wow we were there same time as you and the weather was garbage, completely covered in fog and like 16-17 degrees. I’ve been there 3 times and every time the weather has sucked. Love Sapa though!
You guys went to Fansipan in the most beautiful weather condition it could be. Some other vloggers went in really bad weather condition (raining, foggy...) and obviously the view is terrible :D
@@JordanandEmily yah cause it’s unsafety for you and it’s still forbiden in here. Police will charege you up to 150$ …..save that money for a night is better. hehe
@@manhhungnguyen8616 wow! Thanks for letting us know! We always have them with us but have found it hard to absolutely confirm each countries rules - we generally just follow the lead of what the locals are doing and hope for the best 😅

Love ❤️ from Canada 🇨🇦 to you. Thank you for sharing this beautiful view of the top of IndoChina. Lucky you, the weather was cooperative with you. Great adventure !
