It's our fourth day in Hokkaido and our last day in Sapporo. On this video, we will go to Odori Park and see the amazing Snow Sculptures for the Sapporo Snow Festival 2024.
We will also visit one of Sapporo's top attractions, the Sapporo TV Tower Observatory. Atop of the tower, you have a 360 degree view of the city and a bird's eye view of Odori Park; it is definitely a must visit!
The last itinerary in Sapporo is the Sapporo Crab Market. For the first time, we witnessed live King Crab and saw how HUGE they are in person. But since the price of king crab can be a little bit pricey, we opted for another famous and local crab delicacy, the Hokkaido Hairy Crab.
Unlike the local crabs here in the Philippines, the hairy crab without doubt is meatier and has a sweeter taste! We got a crab that was less than 1kg and that was enough for four people. It was still kinda pricey at Y14000 but that was absolutely worth!
And after that, picked up our luggage at the hotel and we head on to New Chitose Airport to wait for our boarding time to Nagoya. We ate a lot of desserts and we had one of the most satisfyingly delicious ramen! One bowl wasn't enough. You should definitely try Ichigen Ramen Ebisoba whenever you're in Hokkaido. They also have stores in Tokyo.
Once we arrived at Chubu Centrair Airport in Nagoya, we rushed to get our luggage since the last train to the city proper was scheduled at 11:30pm and we landed at around 11pm. It was a heart-pounding, adrenaline-rushing experience to catch the last train since we cannot sleep at the airport cause of our tour the next day!
We checked in at a hotel near Nagoya station, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nagoya. The rooms were compact but considering other hotels we've been to in Japan, this is the standard. Our accommodation comes with a breakfast voucher worth Y600 in Mister Donut.
