I too am a Pakistani living abroad who had a similar experience to that of Mr. Bhatti. After signing a written agreement with the Lahore Development Authority, I built a 5,500 sq. ft. library in Townships N1 and stocked it with about 3,000 books and publications at my own expense. The agreement specifically stated that elected local representatives will manage and run the library. However, ten years ago, LDA arbitrarily decided to take over its control. Hardly anyone now visits the place because its doors are opened only when convenient for LDA employees. God only knows what funds are allocated from LDA's budget for a facility that presently serves no purpose. After knocking on the doors of various chairmen of LDA and officials of the provincial government, year after year, I have given up. There is a limit to what an old man can do for a country that gave him so much and for which I stood to give my life on at least four different occasions.

Saqib Nisar must be tried and thrown behind bars. All retirement benefits must be stopped & returned and should be handed over to NAB for living beyond means. Plus he & his family must compensate losses of Bhatti sb with an open apology. An interview with PJ will not exonerate him from his crimes. This man should be made an example.
