The superstar NFL running back was born in the Bronx, but his family moved when he was a young boy. Although he left the borough at a young age, Saquon has a strong connection to the Bronx through family, friends, and his desire to give back to the community. Facing adversity of his own this year due to a season ending injury Saquon still made the time to give back to the student athletes at Capital Prep Harlem Charter School and gifting the team with brand new uniforms.
Getting stronger on and off the field Barkley understands the position he is in to not only inspire but make a difference. He is deeply connected to the city of New York where he plays and is heart is still in the Bronx.
This is his legacy.
