Even though Venus is not as consistent & struggles with her condition, she can still pull off shots that no other woman can even attempt. Best shot maker to play the game ever in my opinion

Well considering the sydrome Venus is dealing with causes swelling in her hands, some days it's worse than others, but she really cannot control her return well when she is having a bad flare-up. This was very evident in her Wimbledon Singles 1st Round Match...she says she can't feel the ball or the strings that well, which must be one of those things she has to fight through
These line judges got a few calls wrong. Venus hit a shot and it was clearly in, but the judge said out. Another shot Vinci hit, it went out, but was called in. WHAT?!?!?!

On the other hand Venus played with so much intensity but she lost many points and the Italians were always playing on her. Good tactic, Serena is way more solid and at the end it paid off.
That has always been their way to play, though. No tactics, no strategy, just blast the ball 100% on every shot. You're gonna make 100 unforced errors, but 110 direct points, so you win. Simple and effective 😂
Please, Errani's serve makes Aga's serves look like freaking bombs! If Errani was doped, she would be consistently hitting 100+ mph serves, but she hits serves so soft they don't even get detected on the radar gun! If that isn't proof then i don't know what is.
Just because you don't understand her playing doesn't mean she isn't talented. And in sport the best wins not the one who looks or "acts" more as a winner.. that's the problem of many italians ,underrated just because they don't play the divas or the cool attitude card when they are winners! We are considered underdogs in any case no matter how many times we prove we are good.
Errani is playing well, but for her tactic she really shouldn't be in the top 5. The Big 3 and at times Kvitova all create huge power that people like Errani WILL get pushed off the court because of it. She is playing like Wozniacki. Stick the racquet and let the ball go over, playing in 50 million tournament a year and gathering points like that to jump over everyone. It's smart for now, but eventually Errani could end up like Wozniacki, barely getting out of the 2nd round of a tournament.
I think you do not get my point. I don't think she has to act like a diva or something, I just can't stand players who just push every ball back and play without any signs of aggression. I think Errani is playing well, she should be in the top 20, myabe top 15. But top 5? Seriously?
I don't believe Errani will break into the top 3, yet alone number 1 in the world, not with Azarenka, Williams, and Sharapova up there. Venus and Serena though are still a better doubles team against these two when they are having good runs. Venus and Serena, by my knowledge, have completed a career golden slam TWICE. Errani is eventually going to crumble due to her playing numerous tournaments and racking up points like Wozniacki did. I really don't see Errani winning a singles slam.

Yes, it is a Babolat but it's extended by almost 2 inches. You ever notice that as soon as she switched to the + length racket, she went from being a shitty player on the challenger tour to a top 10 superstar? Or maybe it isn't the racket? the Williams sisters should have won this in straight sets. they also had chances in the 3rd but started hitting errors galore lol. they still are awesome though
Serena served for the match as well and made very few 1st serves and she was very passive...at least venus put herself in a position every point to be win the point by being agressive

a longest racket helped her, but errani improved too, the last two years she plays unbelievable on clay, having good results on hard too...i repeat it, errani isn't doped, with a serve like hers anyone can't be doped...

That's what i was thinking. Venus's syndrome most likely flared up during this match. But I personally don't think they are by far the best doubles team in the world. Plus, they got crushed 6-1 6-1 at the Olympics by the two sisters. But in 2013, Errani got exited early, and Vinci made it to the 3rd round, like Venus. But Serena went farther, and they were probably tired and had back to back schedules, which is tough.
Errani and Vinci were the best team in the world. They won 5 GS titles and a carreer Grand Slam in just two years (2012-2014) Venus syndrome and being tired are not excuses. They just lost the match because their opponents played better and found a way to win it.
What they did point out is that BOTH sisters were injured and sick. It really doesn't matter...they still have plenty of doubles championships. Great GrandMa Vince and Errani aka E.T. won. LOL.
