Let's see .... we have sledless sleds, adult beverages, Denali, impressions from Sarah and a tow-truck search and rescue mission. This could be a screenplay!!! Well done and thoroughly enjoyable.
Take Sara on all your trips in the future. She's a hoot. I've never laughed as much watching one if your videos. She's easy to look at and that's a bonus also. Peace
Sara is a hoot especially with a few wines under her belt. Looks like you guys are having allot of fun. Loved how she just dumped the asparagus on the grill, ha
Looked like a fun couple days. Not usually a fan of beer can chicken, but everything seems to taste a little better in the woods/cabin. Especially if you have to hull it uphill, both ways, in two feet of snow😃
This was different. One of your best. Lots of laughs. Great time. You're a cool couple. So glad you all had such a good time. Also really glad you bring Denali. Till next time.
Beer can chicken is all about the beer!!! - for my personal taste I use a non-lite beer - tried both and prefer straight bud or even miller high life!!!! Yes the champagne of beers!!! Also put the dry rub on and put in the fridge for at least 12 hours before cooking. Great video as always - great to see the snow.
Beer Can chicken is really good and super easy to make. I always put seasonings and garlic cloves in the beer can so the spices steam into the chicken as it cooks.
A cozy cabin in WInter, more food than you could possibly eat, beer wine and bourbon?, and an awesome wife... how can you stand it! And yup, Martha Child is a show stealer for sure. Oh, beer can chicken is even better grilled! Unicorns? Meh. Taste like Skittles! Fun video!!
Many moons ago i stayed at my grandparents place not far from where you are. I think the name of the road was mountain laurel road. My aunt and uncle have a place off big buck bend. If your at the top of that mountain it doesn't matter which road you took in Asaph or what ever the other was called by the gift shop. The roads are step. I adventure been there in 20 years. I love it up there.
You two cats are cool. Oh and BTW yes beer can chicken is awesome. I make it frequently and its juicier than just grilling it without. I grill a lot and all different ways and this is by far for me the most moist chicken I cook.
So I clicked through to Amazon from your page. It didn't look any different than it normally would, but I placed an order and hope it gets us a few more frames of footage. Go Sintax!
Content and editing is awesome! So glad I stumbled across your chanell. Just moved from CA to ID and I'm working on getting my wife out there with me. Thx for the vids they're really inspiring.
So basically, you were near the West Rim Trail area? Great place, great humor, great food, great video, great edits, another great experience!! You guys are better than Netflix, except for the Benjamin Button part :)
I watch your channel because you are so serious and educational. Oh well, guess I need to keep looking! Just kidding of course. Sara definitely adds a different texture. Your Abbot and Costello routine is hilarious.
I love your videos. You guys remind me of wife and I. we take our dog Tucker when hiking and backpacking. we love to camp cook and our #1 comfort item is usually Wine or Beer or a good mixed drink.
It looked like a fun time at the cabin, but it looks like Sara did all of the work pulling the sleds up the mountain. lol I'm sure that you did your share! Cool Video!
Aaaaah! Now it makes sense. Gary drove you down the mountain and the Unicorn met you in Sarah's car. GO Unicorns! Known to live under creepy trees! Good job guys!!! Love the vid.
Just a nice trick to help make beer can chicken even better-get a quarter pound of THICK,center cut bacon and lay it over the top of the chicken, and put red wine and Mrs.Dash inside the beer can-the bacon melts away the fat into the chicken-giving it an amazing flavor,as well as keeping it from burning-and the red wine and spices in the can turn to steam and infuse and impart those flavors into the meat(been doing this since my Boy Scout/Eagle Scout days)
Sintax from that cabin you're not a far drive from the Allegheny National Forest. Try some backpacking there. Not as intense as the Whites, but has some good elevation up and downs, cool camping spots and seclusion. If you want to do a weekend of hiking and not run into people that is where it is at. Tons of cool camp sites along the water where you can hang a hammock.
So it looks like your on top of Mt. Tom looking West? Our camp is 3 miles west south west of Colton Pt. SP We go in at the Burning Barrel, it was called the Twin Pines, years ago.
Not a problem in this case, because of the roaster, but doing indirect chicken on a BBQ, don't forget to burn off the fat drippings. I can tell you, run away flames on a steak equals charcoal. Keep seeing hints. Did you work in the video industry, IE TV or production house? Great show.
As for chicken on the grill, I have always preferred the butterfly method. Remove the spine and flatten as much as possible. Skin side down first. JMHO I've done beer can chicken once; wasn't for me. Never rode a unicorn but I have had unicorn bacon.
Given the impressive special effects to show the bunk layout, where is Medical Man's spot? Also, Wellsboro is a great place, used to go through there all the time for work. Cool video.
+Joshua Hal Lewis Medical Man has been using a cot that he sets up at night in the common area, but he's actually adding an upper bunk to Steve's area when he comes up for the annual spring trip.
Name Suggestion for Sara, Golden Grasshopper, because she made that Golden Commentary at the before mentioned time, and Grasshopper calls she always seems to be all over the place.
Were you guys in VA this past weekend? I was coming back from a hiking trip in Roanoke and saw a VW wagon with PA plates on 66 with a bunch of gear in the back
