Wonderful job! Sarabi is one of the most underrated characters in the Lion King franchise. I love how she gets more spotlight in the 2019 film. I like how you explained her backstory.
I agree with everything you said. But in the remake she's an extremely unlikable character, she's all time serious and keeps her pride under bad conditions just because she refuses to make peace with Scar.
It's a shame that Madge Sinclair passed away shortly after the original film was released. Hence why Sarabi never returned in the following films... Here's more detailed info copied from IMDB - "Sinclair, having died in 1995 at Los Angeles' Good Samaritan Hospital following a 13 year battle with leukemia, could not reprise her role as Queen Sarabi in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (1998). The directors felt that replacing her voice could be seen as disrespectful and inappropriate. Sinclair was survived by her first husband, Dean Compton; her two sons; her mother; and her sister."
Yet, they had no problem replacing Nala’s actress. I actually think having Sarabi as a wise old lioness as the voice of reason during pride conflicts in TLK2 would have been a good thing to add.
My GF has been asking me to watch The Lion Guard (I watched The Lion King I and II way back in the day as a kid) and I fell in love with the series again and found your video! I would love a story of Kion how he was born , how he became the leader of the lion guard , how he got his scar , how he was been married by Rani and how he became an adult .
@@Not.shayyla I believe he considers The Lion Guard canon as he mentions the story of Nala’s father being saved by The Lion Guard but in the Uru video he mentions that Scar got his scar from his father instead of a snake (I believe this his own non-canon backstory of Scar)
This would make me cry at some point... Another story would have her killed by an outlander lioness named Zira who kills her as part of a revenge scheme against Simba!
