Sarada’s smug smirk before breaking the orb is definitely a trademark passed down from her dad. Love it.

Man Saradas voice actress really gave it her all with that "Chidori". Had the exact same spirit when Sasuke says it.

Now if Boruto had jumped a millisecond too late, we'd have another Rin.

I never realized how genius boruto was, he destroyed boro's arm so that he couldn't weave any signs and make the weak spot go away and used smoke bombs to draw his attention to set sarada up for success, he truly is minato's grandson.

Love how Boruto has Hinata’s fighting style, Minato’s intelligence and Naruto’s unpredictability. Sarada also has Sakura’s strength and smarts along with Sasuke’s moves and combat IQ.

They gave Sarada her moment and did her justice. A MASSIVE WIN

When Boruto flipped over Sarada's chidori, that was just too clean

Can we just appreciate Boruto's TIMING!? I mean, it was her first Chidori, but he calculated her speed and everything to be able to backflip PERFECTLY in time!

I just love her voice actor. She's perfect. Also that smug smile before she destroyed that thing was so Sasuke. Perfectly made scene.

Obito's face slap, Madara's slow March, Sasuke's Chidori. What a sequence.

It's awesome how Boruto is Sasuke's student and Sarada looks up to Naruto in such a passionate way, but they still take their parents jutsu. It's honestly just awesome.

Loved how fast Boruto realized, mid-air, looking backwards, after being thrown away with a punch in the face, that Sarada was coming at chidori's full-speed and inmediatly knew what to do including a Rasengan that would prevent Boro from using hand seals. There you have the Namikaze blood. Besides, the perfect sync between Boruto's jump and Sarada's attack was superb.

She truly showed she’s the captain now in this episode.

Props to Boruto for setting up a stealth rasengan while Boro's vision was obscured by the smoke bombs. Giving Sarada a clean opening to strike.

I really love how Sarada seems to be one the few characters who analysis her opponents. I like that about her.

One year later and this scene still gives me chills 🎉❤

Easily the most beautiful Chidori ever animated.

Boruto’s backflip and being able to use that vanishing rasengan made this joint 20 times better I started screaming 😂

Sarada is the redemption, depth and strength Sakura always deserved, and as a girl who loved Naruto regardless, she has me in tears on a regular basis.

With Sasuke's skills, Sakura's strength, and Naruto's determination, plus she had teammates that can rely on, Sarada's character is absolutely perfection. In some extent, she really feels like the main character to me.

Something about the way Sarada says "Chidori" is hitting different.

Sarada really out there being a better captain than Konohamaru.

Sarada is a great example of how to write an awesome, powerful character without them feeling like a joke.

Boruto noticing Sarada heading his way so he used the smoke bombs and the vanishing Rasengan to create and opening for Sarada, destroying Boro's left arm so he can't weave signs and move the core, was some brilliant and quick thinking from Boruto. He trusted Sarada 100% and knew exactly what needed to be done.

Sarada: Dad, lend me strength Sasuke in the hospital bed: 😵

All in one frame Sarada first analyse him like itachi , slap like obito , slow walk like madra , speed run like sasuke and final Kakashi jutsu . That chidori when sarada said giving the goosebumps .

I love how in sync this team is, Boruto gets knocked back, notices Sarada approaching, instantly knows what to do, and sets her up for success.

The “dad lend me strength” gave me goosebumps

Amazing how a 30 second sequence from 1:40 - 2:10 can lift an entire episode up like that - Especially the backflip at 1:58 along with the chidori chirping & the "enhancing" of the ability itself when she comes to a full-stop at 2:00 & the camera starts panning really sells it so well, the sound design is really what made this scene work

While I love how Boruto was able to notice Sarada making her attack and was able to plan accordingly with such short time, but Sarada is my favourite new character from this series. She’s so like Naruto but so different at the same time. She really is her own character, and I really hope her development doesn’t get stunted.

Sarada blitzed the Chidori at him then crushed his core with her bare palm. Ladies and gentlemen, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura.

Now this is teamwork, they're seriously making everyone in team 7 useful and I respect that. I'm just gonna pretend Konohamaru doesn't exist anymore.

This anime additon shows so much about Boruto as a genius: 1) He saw Sarada and came up with a plan immediately 2) He used smoke bombs to block Boro's vision from Sarada 3) he used the vanishing rasengan to catch Boro of guard 4) Finally backflips at the exact moment of attack

I know the series is about Boruto, but she seriously was the character I cared most about among the original team at the start, because of her situation. She has the classic "become Hokage" goal BUT is also an Uchiha, a clan that doesn't exactly have a good record with the Leaf. Maybe the boys Kawaki and Boruto will get their mega ultra alien clan power ups, but I want HER to grow as a character. Let Sarada get the development her mother could not. Don't let her just be some love interest.

The fact that Boruto saw her coming and was instantly like "I gotta cover for her" and the set up...*chefs kiss*

Sarada and Boruto show that they have the potential of being as good of a duo as Sasuke and Naruto here.

I love that when Boruto sees her coming, he sets her up and then jumps out of the way, trusting her to take down the enemy on her own. I don't think a male character ever did that for any of the girls in OG Naruto or in Shippuden.

The way she says Chidori sOUNDS BADASS Legit Gives me the vibes of Sakura's mad strength and Sasuke's insane precision... absolute perfection It hits SO different seeing this after so long

Boruto definitely inherited Minato’s skill 🔥

Boruto and Sarada's teamwork outshines everyone at this point. Boruto literally used smoke bombs so Boro couldn't see him setting up a vanishing rasengan. Blew his arm off so he couldn't weave signs again to move the core. Then he was in front of Sarada the whole time so Boro couldn't see her coming then dodged at the last second so she'll be right in front of him at full speed. All of that with no communication whatsover but just a look. 🔥🔥🔥

Man, this was brilliant. Once Boruto noticed Sarada, he set up the smoke bombs so he can do a hidden Rasengan getting rid of his arm to allow Sarada to come through with her chakra to take him out.

She literally reminds me so much of a young female version of Kakashi.

I just can't believe it, sarada is a total package, she indeed can become a hokage when she grow up😭

Sarada's chidori was clean asf, and Boruto definetely inherited Minato's skills, setting up a vanishing rasengan and being able to jump perfectly at the right time even though Sarada was moving fast.👏

This is by far the top scene in Boruto right now. Like the best 3 mins ever in the anime so far. Gets me hyped every time. :D

The voice actor here for Sarada is perfect! The way she says "Chidori" is so satisfying! You can hear the passion and urgency her voice! Give it another listen and appreciate a master at work.

Pausing it at 2:01 at just the right time within that second gives you a pretty cool black and white wallpaper.

Boruto might not always be top tier animation but they definitely put in the work when it’s needed

Damn, if you watch at .25 or .5 around 1:47 you actually see Boruto slip his rasengan into the smoke. Insane animation detail. Can't even see it at full speed unless you know it's there.

im not gon lie this scene was slick as hell I liked that as soon as Boruto saw Sarada comin through he instantly switched to support mode to give Sarada the shot she needed

1:56 The part that's so great about this is there's no one in the stands explaining what Boruto did. I had to realize for myself he used the smoke bombs to cover his charging AND throwing the v.rasengan in that short time. Rad moment for Boruto

The moment boruto notice sarada going for chidori, he made the neccessary actions to give her an opening within a fraction of seconds(1:48 he release a small rasengan from the smoke.. notice his hands and the white circle, smooth af)... he is more like minato than naruto.
