@@SCjunk Do you ever watch Deception Detective? He says that people use related words in their speech. He uses that theory with the McCann and where they put Madeleine's body. Anyway, I think people do that sometimes and I think you did with the word "pedestrian." I mean, sure--it seems crass but you didn't do it on purpose. You were just thinking about his horrific crime and the word "pedestrian" popped up in your brain. Or not. It's just a theory. Anyway, you gave me a chuckle. Thanks.

Orange County civil court records speak to Brian Boone not being in a good place financially. Then too, in one of her letters Sarah accused Brian of turning her son against her. I'd be very surprised if he had either the means or the will to pay for private counsel.

If she didn’t mistreat and slander every attorney, judge, person, public and anyone who went against her (even when it’s in her best interests) she may could’ve had an attorney represent her pro bono - but no one in their right mind will put themselves in the ring for her. Based on her past behavior she will slander and blame them too. That’s why she doesn’t want to represent herslef - she needs someone to blame when she gets convicted

I agree, this Judge was taking an hilarious pop at Boone by writing (and underlining)in bold text, the years, months and days that the case has been pending. He clearly knew that all the people following this case, would get the joke. I doubt Boone will.

@@ellendickey4769 you know, I think you’re correct. If you read her letters she keeps referring to it as “her trial”. She keeps saying in her letters how she feels she’s the one in charge. She’s about to go up against the state of Florida and a judge (who already doesn’t like her) and she thinks it’s like a tv courtroom show. She is the equivalent of those that say “I watch judge Judy so I completely understand how law works”. Reality is about to give her a huge punch in the face when she sees how the system works and realizes those court shows are completely NOT how the court system works.

8 changes at representation…ok, we can do that for ya Sarah….but I would not give you a second chance to cause harm to another person out in society. And I think a jury will find the same once you present your case. I think Sarah demonstrates once again how she “unintentionally” caused Jorge’s death, and why she is a danger to society. She simply cannot see the likely (or even inevitable) sum consequences to her words and actions. She is incredibly self-centred and lacking in self-awareness, and when you combine that with alcohol addiction (and maybe some sort of anti-social personality disorder) she is another accident in waiting. We could easily have been here with her son being the victim in the suitcase, rather than Jorge. Sarah is incapable of critical self-reflection. She can only blame and project.

@@karenkneisley288 she had no idea at that moment she was going to be in their custody. This is like the saying “be careful what you ask for because it might come true”. Well she’s gotten (or is going to get) everything she’s asked for in her letters. She now has 3 months to study up on laws and now has access to all her evidence. In the future, they need to use her as an example of what NOT to do if you’re going on trial.

The judge gave her a specialist attorney, !! This is crazy. The court has gone above and beyond for her. She's on her own. She'll be in prison for life. Or, that's what she wants.
