I wouldn’t say the last line was left out. It was just phrased differently. Instead of saying, “do you understand these rights? And with these rights in mind want to talk to me anyway?” It’s phrased, “do you understand what I just read?” And “has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me?” And Sarah answered yes. And as far as hair and makeup, a hair cut yes, but she doesn’t get a professional makeup artist. Tinted moisturizer and mascara and call it a day.

Professional hair and makeup will never take away the factual evidence of her own recording

I don’t think she could have physically put him in that suitcase. I believe Jorge wasn’t the sharpest tool in the toolbox and got in that suitcase voluntarily not thinking Sarah wouldn’t him help out. They were both drunk. She used the opportunity to “pay him back” for his past behavior. However, she had the opportunity to let him out and she didn’t. She’s going to be convicted and spend many years in prison.

This is infuriating. Jorge lost his life in a horrific and tragic way, and this piece of work has the audacity to ask for a professional to do her hair and makeup for court. I despise the fact that her trial has gotten so much attention, because she literally feels like a celebrity. I can only imagine what this is doing to Jorge’s family SMDH

Who here thinks that she did something to make him go unconscious, put him in suitcase, "roll" it down the stairs, and it woke him up and he started begging to be let out? She then went up stairs and went to bed. For her to say she doesn't get black out drunk, but then said she must have blacked out - is just as absurd as she is.

Self defense, sure, Jan! She was so terrified that thinking he could get out (which she stated repeatedly) she went to bed knowing how angry he'd be once he got out. She always ran to her ex. Brian, but was so afraid she stayed. She feared for her life so much that she didn't call for help. Her lawyers are doing her bidding, there is no other shot so why not but it will fail. Professional hair and make up? Sarah's not entitled to preferential treatment but again her lawyers know there's no dealing or rationalizing with Sarah. Best to present it and let the court take the brunt of her fury. Owens is in it for the notoriety. He's on Court tv, he's suddenly famous thus he's not rocking the boat. Unfortunately for him, if and when they lose the case Sarah will still blame him because narcissists can never accept blame or responsibility.

The battered spouse defense being used by her is a slap in the face to actual victims of DV. A person that has been victimized by an abusive partner would NEVER sit and antagonize their abuser out of fear. Let’s play devil’s advocate and say he got out of the suitcase…he would have definitely had a negative reaction to being locked up and taunted like she did to him. Yet, Sarah goes upstairs and goes to bed like it is nothing. A person suffering from abuse would have definitely left the house and not waited around to see the outcome. It is infuriating that they are putting this charade out there and rubbing salt into the wounds of Jorge’s family and friends.

They weren't playing Hide seek Jorge was a small man he was drunk and she put him in Suitcase and threw him downstairs. How you play Hide and Seek when your the one that Hide the person who you was supposed to find.

It's rediculous this notion her attorney is presenting as if it's HIS case. It's SARAH BOONES'S case and only she herself is to blame for the now limited time he has to "properly prepare." He knew the judges ruling on that prior to agreeing to take it for notoriety. For him to rely on the assumption he could get an extension after all of her shenanigans is her own problem, her own consequences on her own defense. The degree of narcissism & self entitlement in & of itself says alot about her intent.

As a DV victim myself, I can tell you she is absolute faking!

Gotta love how her attorney argues the notion that we don't know the level of domestic abuse prior to that moment in that evening, when clearly in her interrogation she states they had got along better that night than in a while. In fact, she called it "a perfect evening." So umm yeah, we actually DO know, straight from this demon's mouth.

I think Sarah is a snotty little brat... her arrogance cost Jorge his life and ruined a lot of others. She is smirking all through this hearing and still trying to dominate everyone she encounters. All this without alcohol.

I watched the interrogation of Sarah Boone. The two officers doing the interrogation was one of the worst I had ever seen laptop that went dead, constant coughing, interrupting her while she was talking. It was just horrendously done.

My theory. She drank too much, blacked out and forgot that she put him in the suitcase

She claimed he stabbed, well, then said "poked" her in the back of the leg, had surgery, but had to go back 4 or 5 times for them to tend to it. It sounds like it kept getting infected, probably from her being drunk all the time & not taking care of it. Maybe she didn't clean herself enough. Gross!

I don’t think either party is innocent however, that man did not deserve to die in the manner that he did as far as a domestic violence goes I think it went both ways. I don’t see anything but a guilty verdict for this woman she will be fortunate not to get a death sentence And all the make up and hairstyling will not change her future, but the attorney that is defending her will definitely make money off of this. I believe that Jorge was a domestic abuse victim and she manipulated everything with respect to the past violent incidents. She wanted to look like his saviour to fix him. That’s a classic statement from abusers , blame the victim.

They had an alcohol fueled relationship which never ends well. Jorge probably battered Sarah but in the end he was zipped into a suitcase while she taunted and tortured him while he begged to be let out. If she was fearful of what he would do to her after she let him out she could have called police to let him out and escort him off the premises. I don't think her leaving him in the suitcase overnight while she passed out drunk in bed is going to fly as a battered spouse defense with the jury no matter how many experts testify on her behalf. I believe the jury will be as horrified as we have all been.
