i was like addicted to this song when it first came out and then i totally forgot about it.. a few hours ago i was going through my old papers and found a doodle that said OUTSIDE MY WINDOW surrounded by rainbows and birds and such and i was like..'oh!' lol so now im here listening to it and remembering me and my old neighbor kaitlynn dancing around to it in my room(: why is this song not more popular?
My mom is a very cold person in general but I remember her blasting this song and singing happily when it came on. It’s a good memory I have of her being happy for a minute. ❤
Love this song, Love her! This video is further proof that true talent doesn't need all the extra crap to make it good. More musicians should follow in this example.
A Facebook memory came up that was just the chorus to this song. Didn't have the name of the song so I copy and pasted into Google and here I am, enjoying an old song I completely forgot existed!
This song reminds me of a friend I used to have in my late teens/early 20s. I was ignorant and impulsive then, and didn't understand that he was a transgender man. He introduced me to this song, and even after a decade apart, I still remember (at least some), of the lyrics. Sheldon, wherever you are, I hope life is treating you well. I've grown up so much, and I wish you nothing but the best life possible, including friends who accept who you are. Moral of the story: don't dismiss people for trivial differences. It may not be trivial to them, and the friends you do keep will be worth it.
@sanianess Same here I watched it almost all the time when it first came out then I forgot and I was going threw my favorites and then I saw it and am addicted to it again.
