Sabes que esta cantante tiene una capacidad enorme de respiración, de aire, porque esta mas lentas q otras versiones y no esta mal, porque cada director puede hacer su versión pero la cantante hacer esa enorme agilidad sin poder respirar en el medio es para sacarse el sombrero.

@rlee1976 It's 'Guardami e tutto oblio' ie 'When you look at me I forget everything'. So he's not asking her to look at him. Makes sense as the kind of thing you might say while kissing someone who's asked you to kill your best friend.
he's totally asking her to look at him! If it's not clear in this confusing staging, you can tell from the context (ie, Come ti piace imponi, where he says his reward will be a sweet look from her).
Why do you think that? I cannot imagine anyone better than Sarah Connelly in that role. Who would you rather see? There are some amazing counter tenors, David Daniels to name only one. Is that what you are thinking?
