the tattoo/paint on her body represents "Pintados" means "paint" one of the festival in Philippines . The Grass Skirt inspired of Indigenous people of Batanes called "Ivatan" they usually wear it as wig or grass wig . The other costume inspired with "ifugao" costume . and i see some feathers accent inspired with "dinagyang/ati-atihan" festivals which celebrated annually in the Philippines. The whole video or set.up represents the culture or tradition of the Philippines. . Sarah Geronimo also perform and dance new hit songs like Little Mix , beyonce and etc .

I'm here coz tala is still viral and it's 2020. Who else can relate? The dance is pretty much derived from Philippine tribal culture I reckon, not specifically from one particular tribe but a fusion of tribal and western influences. Just my interpretation from what I've seen. I suddenly missed M-Angel❤😁😍🥰

I did filipiniana, which part here is supposedly tribal? I don't recognize a single traditional step here and that grass skirt isn't Filipino FYI, it's Polynesian. Tribal Filipinos wore weaved clothing

Tala is a star, but they used it in the song to symbolize the love that she is seeing in the eyes of her love one, also a destination that symbolizes forever...where they will meet up at the end of the obstacles...filipino both refers to language and people and tagalog was the old term for the national language filipino. I just heard this song over the radio and it felt quite catchy as it is of different genre. I found out it was Sarah Geronimo. She can sing different songs really of different genre. This girl can dance as well. A total performer. Wow! I don't know why I'm here but it felt good seeing this reaction video as it felt that you guys loved it as much as I do. By the way, Tala means Star in Tagalog. "Ang ningning ng mga tala'y nakikita ko sa'yong mga mata" means the shimmer of the stars, I can see it in your eyes. Something like that.

I love your reactions!! Almost all the moves are traditional Filipino moves from what I know but the dress and costumes are all natives. This is just so perfect as intro to our culture :) I love how M-angel picked up the tunes of the song so well not the lyrics though but still good try. if your are looking for a snack then dried mangoes are probably one of the easiest to export so you might actually find some there. As always I enjoyed watching you guys react :)
