Even though Sarah isn't graduating pre-school, all the kids in the school perform. Her class decided to dance the hula and Sarah can swing those hips! She's the one in the front, middle. The name of the song is called "He Mele No Lilo".

Но это еще может быть от того, что эти дети обычно выглядят года на два моложе, чем есть на самом деле. Здесь они выглядят на 4 года, а им уже , возможно, 6 лет. Всё-таки разница в этом возрасте у детей играет большую роль и отражается на обучаемости.
I’ll bet I’ve watched this video of the children dancing at least a dozen times! I can’t get over how very good and focused they are. They all did a fantastic job!!!!! By now they are probably teenagers, since the video notes it’s from 10 years ago! I couldn’t help but watch the little boy on the left with the blue t-shirt when facing the stage. He really captured my heart with his hula! Bravo little one!!!!!!!
I have watch this video so many times. It makes me smile. That little girl in the center is so good I hope she continued with hula. They are all just wonderful especially considering their age!
That's a lot for a little kid to remember and coordinate. Beyond cute, and really a good thing for children to learn. The little boy with the blue skirt really has it down. Kudos to the teacher!

At that age, they all have their own movements, but they all know their parts well, and the coordination is great. I would love to see them in 5 and in 10 years. I think if they stay with the hula, they will be fantastic.
Adorable, can watch it over and over. Wonderful to see children enjoying themselves instead of what is going on in this world. What a pleasure to sit and watch this instead of the news. LOVED IT!!

Very nicely done. Did they get to learn about the manao for the words of Kalakaua He Inoa? It wasn't about feeding peanut butter sandwiches to a fish, but a name song for the last king of the Hawaiian Islands. My kumu wrote it in a tribute to the Hawaiian people. Everybody loves it and lots of kids dance it all over the world.
Wow, she is good! Did you/she ever consider dance class? She seems to be on beat very well, especially for her age. EDIT: So I just found Sarah in her competition from a year ago. I am thrilled that she pursued dancing (I also realized that must have been a dance school wups). But like I said she was very good at that age to be pretty much one beat. I do sqaure dancing we is also about beat to a point so I noticed that right away. Fyi square dancing has gotten a lot more complex than the original but sadly is dying out in us younger generations. But I don't like it to modern music, takes the charm out of it.
You couldn't take your eyes off of him. It is because he's a natural dancer. Notice how expressive his hands are. I was a ballet dancer and this child is a born dancer. God has blessed him. They are all blessed, but he's that outstanding heart of a dancer!
