This song was her coming out party as a songwriter. This song was I believe track 3 on Solace. Every song from her first album to this track was a progression to this. Her songwriting could have veered off into another direction and those early songs sounded like an amazing voice searching for an identity. If you listen to her songs in order, this one (followed by I Will Not Forget You) was the 1-2 punch that launched her career as an artist. She was finally singing to the listener.
