In real life they loved each other's characters better than with other characters.David and Sarah had wonderful chemistry and their characters were soul mates not meant to be.

Loved the whole idea of the spin off show Angel - the show was AWESOME! Really wished Sarah could have fitted a few guest appearances in Angel. Really think Angel and Buffy should have gotten back together in the end, their love was so magical and true!
i love sarah and david, they had really gd chemistry on and off set, just gotta say sarah is so much better then Emily, totaly prefer bangel to booth and breanen or what ever it is, but then again people have different opinions

@fiebre28 no he left because he could never haven given her a future. they could never sleep together, there was always the danger that they'd take things too far and he'd lose his soul, they'd never be able to have children...so in order to give her a normal life he left her and left sunnydale so she could get over him. a totally justified decision and i think that if they had left him there it would've maybe dragged on a little but seasons 1-3 are by far my favourite
so damn right! never seen more amazing couple, they brought so many emotions on screen! I don't remember if at any time I cried more on movies than I cried on BTVS watching them two!
@DahCarmel I agree, Angel i think is better. The only reasons is that it is darker, it has a different vibe than Buffy had. After the first 3 seasons of BtVS (the seasons Angel was in) I didnt really watch the show anymore. It was like Dawson's Creek with demons. Angel will always be me favorite of the 2
@EllenPellenPu I agree. I don't think that was the best direction the show could have gone in... I didn't dislike Cordelia, but she and Angel just weren't right (and Cordelia's attitude became reeeeeeeeally annoying at times).
I agree cordelia is alright but her and angel that didn't make since to me they seemed more like brother and sister and I hated her attitude it ok to be honest sometimes but when it's you just being mean for no reason to someone who saves your life she was annoying to me just my opinion
I never liked them with anyone else! I guess it was better that he left and did Angel, because I did love Angel. BUT I don't think Buffy was ever the same. The only thing wrong about Angel was that he liked Cordelia. That was like the worst pairing ever!
Agreed. His character was not allowed to grow on Buffy in order to shine the light on her in early seasons, but he could actually be showcased on his own show. And yes, Buffy was never the same after he left :(
I think bangel is much better too, but booth nd breanen is more realistic and they bounce off each other. I prefer the buffy relationship tho becuase its so different and romantic like a fairytale kind of, obviously its a popular type of romance now thanks to buffy (twilight)
great interview, Sarah was all Buffy and David was all Angel, good promo. I think that was the main idea. love when they're fighting for girlfriends and boyfriends, and the "About me, it's always abour me" commentary, was FUNNY!!! and kinda true. Sorry, but between ED and SMG, I go with SMG =)

@chewychicklet23 I am so glad i'm not the only one that thinks that! i'v been saying for years they should get her in it as a close friend or an ex partner that were forced to seperate not because they wanted to. they chemistry was amazing in buffy and angel i'd love to see it again
They do have chemistry together, no doubt about that. But after seeing him interact with Emily more, its kinda hard to say. And I'm a big Bangel shipper!! Oh and from what I read in a forum a while back, during season 1 of Bones, Emily broke down because she realized that she was headlining her first show. It overwhelmed her. So DB cleared out the set and consoled her. After that, they became as close as David and Sarah are. So to ask who has better chemistry?? Can't, its a tie.
I do know that David acted in an episode of Married With Children of when the Bundy's went to celebrate Kelly's birthday by going to the movie theater! He was one of Kelly's boyfriends! I don't know what season it was, but I knew it was him!

Buffy is freaking awesome, Angel isnt the same without Buffy. Buffy will always be better than the Angel series as Buffy was and always will be the main show.
Even though angel left buffy and sunnydale after graduation buffy was still real good. I wondered what would've happened if angel didn't leave? but the spinoff angel was a nice show not the original of course but good.

I think this new caster needs to watch the show before she talks about it or at least do her research, Buffy did slay angel when he turned bad again basically going by Angelous again stabbing a sword into him when a demon was rising behind him which he did regain his soul before it happened, he just ended up coming back is all.
Buffy and Angel were my world. I hated it so much when they separated them. Stupid move. But then we got Spike and Buffy and then they became my world 😂 damn I am so NOT loyal! 🤣🤣🤣 anyways the truth is, I love both couples because I love Spike and Angel. Both had an amazing chemistry with SMG. It’s not their fault that the writing sucked.
I think that show would be nothing without SMG since she plays lead character Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer but hey that's just me. Maybe you watched different show?
@susiQ75 I don't know, I think its hard to tell just from an interview. And apparantly they were secretly dating for a while. But if you were just to go purely off interviews, I think David and Charisma Carpenter looked like they had good chemistry
@LVishere By the end of season 3, the Buffy/Angel relationship had been pretty much covered. There wasn't anywhere to take it. Another season of the two of them moping because they could never be truly together? No thanks. Buffy was moving on to college and needed a new start. Angel had his own personal issues to resolve and so it made sense for him to leave town. A few episodes remained to resolve things (including the faith issue), but not enough to justify keeping him on.
@SMGfansCANADA Wesley? They kissed and then it was over. Then Wesley got on Angel and eventually became pretty hardcore and fell in love with Fred and never really true got to be with her...*sniff* Joss Whedon is so cruel!
I so agree with you (canuck21). The Buffy/Angel relationship is cute but I really prefer whatever you call it between Booth and Bones...B/B have great chemistry going and the way they care about each other and how they complete each other...Don´t even mention how they look into each others eyes - it´s hot eyesex :-)
Dude Emily and David (sad to say it since I'm a B/A shipper) have way more chemistry that SMG and DB. I mean hell, emily and david flirt on interviews like crazy! but SMG and DB do have chemistry also, they picture way well! Like a true couple or something

What I was thinking lol. She gets a new boyfriend a couple months after he left and never really gets another girl after. I mean he kissed ghost Cordey once and had sex with Nina once or twice and that was it. lol
lol what is this debate about whether or not david boreanaz had chemistry with sarah or not? lol, i like bones, too, but come on. both buffy and bones are FICTIONAL UNIVERSES, David isn't in love with either. Cordelia and Angel is my OTP anyway. :P Besides, Joss and David Greenwalt have always said the only person David had any chemistry on screen with is James Marsters LOL. :D
@DahCarmel angel is a good show indeed but ur wrong nothing compares to Buffy it was a more humoristic show with Xanders lines anyas sarcasm spikes uhm hillerius lines it was truely the best of everything in 1 show angel just have spikes lines and action David as angel seems a little gay to me to nice to careing and over played and forced as a character.
Well to each their own. I much prefer the quirky, but adult Bones/Booth relationship than the teenage angst laden Buffy/Angel relationship. BTW, David looks annoyed by Sarah in this interview. I think she's more into him than he into her. When David does interviews with Emily, he is so much more engaging and he reacts to her a lot. The two even work together during the weekend for crying out loud.
