This is my absolute favorite kind of art. I can draw pretty well, I have been trying for two years to draw a simple face and I can't do it. It holds me back from producing a piece that I truly love. Your work is awesome!

Many thanks! You could draw a grid on your paper then grid up a photo and transfer it that way. Freehand drawing is difficult and figurative even more so. Lots of practice. Good luck with your work!

Have you seen the portrait adult coloring books on Amazon. I am ordering one of those just so I can practice my painting while I practice my drawing. That way I don't feel held back...

I trace over the drawing, then transfer onto the canvas using graphite paper.

Wanna ask something, what kind of acrylic are you using? Because I have and acrylic but it doesn't blend well because too fast to dry😞 Thankyou😊

Its just normal acrylic paint, mostly cheap brands. I think its best to work as quickly as possible, as it does dry very quickly. Also add many layers to create a smoother finish. Good luck!
