You have been my tap dance idol since I started tap dancing. Due to the pandemic my tap dance classes are paused. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for these excercises which I can now practise at home. :)
I am teen but when I saw one of your PMJ videos 5 years ago I immediately wanted to learn, it sparked something inside of me. Thank you for constantly inspiring me because your talent is incredible! I can now proudly say thanks to your videos and many others I am now a proud tap dancer. And I adore it, it now feels a part of me. It is such an incredible art form and I am so grateful for dancers like you who post videos which allows me to learn as I normally wouldn't be able to afford to have lessons. Tap is now one of my passions, thank you for allowing me to discover that! I just can't put into words how grateful I am.
@@avaarchie7097 Hi I don't know if you mean me. But I don't think, I am anywhere near being able to teach. But I am happy to link other youtube channels with beginner tap videos if you would like?
I've never been inspired watching a WARM-UP before. This is amazing. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your gift with us and inviting us to participate. Every time I watch this video I am more and more in awe!
Whenver i start with this, i remember a few words from my beautiful teacher about my five pasions. "TAP IS THE FIRST I HOPE..."... she said. And if this passion is not the first, it is the one that changed my life and made me enjoy it to the fullest. Rhythm, music, dance an heart beat... Everything that makes me happy.... Todo lo que me hace feliz. Un dia platicaremos eso... Un dia hablaremos porque el tap cambio mi vida y cuando.
Hypnotic. My legs ache just from watching. You are one of my favorite dancers, along with Gregory Hines, Sammy Davis, Jr., Gene Kelly, Ann Miller, and Eleanor Powell, to name a few. You appear effortless in doing things that are next-to-impossible. I guess that's one trait of the supremely talented.
Super warm up. For interest sitting down after hip replacement (i.e. after 16 weeks) I have found the routine helpful/relaxing including ankles. Excludes turns. Has improved muscle group also. Great many thanks. Will inform my physio. My dance group will also benefit. RU-vid Old Man By Spectre.
Definitivamente y absolutamente genial. Me he quedado de piedra. Una habilidad prodigiosa. Y el final con los deslizamientos (slides), parecía Cámara lenta ( slowmotion). Me quedo en Shock. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for posting this warm up and the break down too. I've learned so much from doing this warm up especially when in person classes not possible.. What are the brand of shoes you are wearing?
At 3:16 you say jump in to it, and when you go down, after you jump, you make a realy fast beat, like 6 or 7 taps really fast, I can't understand how you do that, cause I only see your left leg and foot moving, do you make all those fast taps with the left feet only? I'm not asking to learn, is just that I saw some videos from you in Postmodern channel and I added a few of them to a list to watch since I love your energie and the Tap dancing itself, and one of the videos I added to the list was this one, so I kept watching and trying to imagine me doing this, but that part at 3:16 I can't imagine me doing it, actualy I find it kind of impossible to do, well not impossible cause you do it, but I just cant understand how 😅😅
the step she is doing there is the same as before, just sped up. it's called a cramp roll, and it involves four sounds, as follows: right toe, left toe, right heel, left heel. you can also do it starting with the left toe (so it goes left right left right instead of right left right left) or starting with either heel (those are when she says "reverse"). you can check out this video for a cramp roll how-to: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kem1lnkkUBI.html
@@nicolausbraun7767 still when I look back at the timestamp I pointed in my original comment, is so fast that I cant even see her moving the rigt foot, and it looks like she does more then 4 taps
Do you have more videos like this? I would like to learn more with your videos!!! You are amaizing dancer!!! I love dance tap and in my city there are not tap dancer or teachers and I learn on my own
Jeez, there's so much work to do just right here! Spent almost an hour trying to nail those "Shirley temples" with the double toes and digs... facepalm
