Her lies are just stupid. Especially when you hear this testimony, and also hear the cellphone video of Jorge begging for help while in the suitcase, and Sarah’s evil replies to him.
She's a horrible evil woman ,a horrible wife ,a horrible mother and the murderer of her boyfriend .She laughed and called him stupid ,she wasn't afraid ,she's just hateful and more abusive than her boyfriend was .
😢 Just seeing the awful photo evidence of her DV injuries and then Jorge destroying the 📺 with the bat. I feel triggered. Understand now why she did it. Yes she is a compulsive liar, entitled, obnoxious and manipulative but he was bloody evil.
Her lying is infuriating! If "terrified," you leave and call 911. You don't go to sleep, and she said she thought he could get out. This story Boone and her attorney concocted makes no sense.
It sure doesn't make sense, does it! And the lawyer is asking leading questions which should never be allowed in court! It's very obvious she was about to say something completely different until he asked, "were you scared?"
Speaking of 'terrified', and the way she delivered that line. In a baby-like timbre. Pretended youthful innocence. Looking at the jury to say "No , I did not" to feign sincerity. All sounds scripted and rehearsed.
@@wwfera00she only would’ve had to serve five more years since she would only have to serve a percentage of the sentence and including the almost 5 years she’s already spent in there. She could also get out early on manslaughter but not on murder she will have to at least do the 22.5 year minimum

I am surprised at how much she has been able to control her demeanor. I don't believe her mostly, don't get me wrong. But for this part, I wonder if the insane amount of blinking is in part due to her trying to seem calm and composed and fighting her urges to make certain facial expressions or elaborate etc. I kind of get feeling that her blinking is some of that energy leaking out in some way, or only way it can, through her blinks. The rest of her face is like still pond for a lot of this, but her eyelids going crazy
That alone doesn’t mean anything. High blink rate is a stressor and testifying is stressful. it depends what the persons baseline is. If it’s outside their baseline and met with other signs of deception, then it’s likely she’s lying. But then again this is Sarah Boone, so if her mouth is open she’s lying. Lol

Sarah had as much if not more control in this relationship than Jorge . He lived in her house. Her money her car her phone. Just before his death there’s a recording of Jorge speaking to police when they’d been called out and the officer tells him he needs to get way from Sarah before he ends up dead . She was also arrested for dv .
He was in a suitcase begging for his life while she taunted him…yes sounds very terrifying to me too 🤨 she could’ve easily call the cops or did literally anything else but record him as he died in that suitcase

@@susancook1448 I do believe she was denied. If I remember correctly the judge said sumthing about them not taking the extra time to do her make up cuz they've delayed the trial enough. I will have to go back and make sure though
First of all, I found it appalling that the Judge changed his opinion about the Overt Act once the State had already rested their case. Now the Defense gets to bring in the old stuff, the photos of abuse and the State only has cross-examination to prove their case further. She again, went on the stand and changed her story a third time - stating they had an argument before she went upstairs. None of that was on the Detective’s video within her cruiser and it wasn’t again on the video of her being questioned at the police station. I think the jury already has an idea as to what this woman is with the videos and the smirking on the stand that in no way is the Defense going to be able to show she was in immediate threat of harm from Jorge especially when you zip up a person in a suitcase and beat the crap out of him ! I’m still putting my money on the fact she will get second degree murder with 25 plus years.
@@catsanddogs8983 What the Defense had to prove was that she put him in the suitcase to “restrain” him. That was the overt act. Owens used the scenario that two guys in a bar start to pick a fight and this guy knows his two buddies are gonna bash each other, so he goes over to the guy he knows is gonna kill the other guy and he puts that guy in a headlock (restraining him from killing the other guy). This is what they say Sarah did. She used the suitcase to “restrain” Jorge because she knew Jorge, once he started drinking, that he was going to come after her. That’s the story.

When Owens was asking her questions, she tried to look sad a regretful. When Mr. Jay cross-examined her, she looked all constipated and gave him dagger eyes. She couldn't look the jury in the eyes, even when facing them.

For someone that’s had four years to think about the answers to these questions, she sure has to think a while before answering them. She seems to think she’s coming across as being genuine and that the answers are incredibly painful to recall, but it comes across as badly rehearsed. An actress she is not, though it wouldn’t surprise me if she’s claimed to be a highly regarded actress at some point since she thinks she’s the best in just about everything one can do.
The injuries she talked about today seemed to be caused by drunkeness and rough play from her starting physical combative arguments about alcohol. The only abuse going on was alcohol abuse
My mother in law was an alcoholic and she like Sarah was a day drinker . She drank at home as well. She was also constantly falling down she broke her wrist twice broke her hip and was constantly covered in bruises .

When he asked her why didnt she let him out before she went up the stairs, he shuda let her answer. She didnt have an answer until he said were you afraid, then she jumped right on that and said she was terrified. If that were true when he asked the question, she wuda immediately said she was terrified.
This judge is so worried about his reputation and this case getting appealed that he is literally going to let this thing get away with this ! She has changed her story now THREE (3) times underoath and the judge is okay with that ... He then takes a completely different stance on the overt act and allows for evidence from the past that had nothing to do with this ESPECIALLY when NO OVERT ACT was even demonstrated in the testimony and even worse does this AFTER the prosecution rests on opening statements. !! WTF !! The prosecution is about as worthless as a screen door on a submarine. They could have shredded her on the stand as the pathological liar she truly is but NOPE their cross was as pathetic as Boone's blatant lies. That suitcase DIDN'T have that huge hole in it as Boone showed and the video evidence proves that yet the prosecution didn't even touch on that lie. All the prosecution had to do was show the video once again to show that that hole was never there on either side as Boone flipped it like it was a waffle so we most certainly would have seen that hole when he was trying to push out but again the prosecution just allowed this LIE to be spit to the jury ..... And don't even get me started on Owen's leading Boone all around the courthouse during her testimony and not one objection !!! .... This is a kangaroo courtroom and a complete waste of tax payers money and time ..... Hey judge why don't you just go ahead and excuse the jury and everyone concerned and find her NOT GUILTY because that's exactly what you want to do. Boone was right about one thing the man most certainly has no business in that chair
I think because she testified, the state will be able to call her in the rebuttal, when cross examining her in the defense direct case they have to stick with what has been brought out in her testimony this far , they will hopefully bring it all out in rebuttal
