Have you tried the Legacy Trail?? Biking on Longboat also would work. All paved.

@@carolynfrancis8143 10.8 miles starting at the Venice Train Station and going north. Perfect trail for all concerned all along the way. Test ride a Catrike Dumont. They are made in Orlando. The new Eola model is more afordable, but it doesn't fold. A rear seat dog bed cover can serve as the perfect device to put a folded trike on to protect the seats. Thanks.

There are some great paved trails in the Sarasota area. Legacy Trail would be perfect for you!! Carolyn Francis
