We are so excited we were able to tour the newly remodeled deluxe studio in Congress Park at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort! This room was finished very recently and looks so much better than the old design! We love the clean, crisp look with little Disney touches throughout.
Currently Congress Park is the only building that has finished remodeled rooms. This building is in the preferred section of the resort. The full remodel will take a total of a year and a half as Saratoga Springs is a very large resort. You can request a remodeled room; however, since there are only so many of them, it's not a guarantee you will get one. But you have a much better chance of getting one if you request it ahead of time.
This room sleeps up to 4 adults, and we loved the Murphy bed style in the room. It definitely helps the room feel more open when it's up, especially if only two people are staying in the studio. The picture above the Murphy bed is adorable too.

I am excited about that new remodel! The extra queen bed is a great feature. It looks so clean and modern. They were in need of an upgrade. I love that there's no carpet now too!

Congress Park was always my favorite area but stopped booking it because of it being changed to Preferred and increased points. This video definitely makes me want to start booking it again. I love what they did with these rooms. The lighter colors and the removal of the rugs brighten up the rooms and I love the Murphy beds.

Impressons Better then the old looks! Tba carpets are now all hard wood floors which is better! Tbe beds are now raised beds Tbe couch looks good but there is no more horse pillows, but the new ones are good! I love how they have murphy beds insted of sofa beds! The new dressers look a lot better! Tbe kitchennette looks a lot better with stainless steel appliances! Tbe bathrooms are a lot better with new floors, new sinks, new tiets, and a new tub shower combo with 2 showerheads! Overall impressons, This ia a LOT better!!! Worth your stay!

Thank you for the detailed video! Studio is much improved, but they still missed their mark to make it 100% perfect by not putting that pocket door in to completely enclose the bathroom sink area from the bedroom area. Its my biggest pet peeve to have the lights go on, hear the water or blow dryer when someone else is still trying to rest. Even the value hotels have these doors being installed to completely enclose the bathroom area. Very surprised they did not do this with a Deluxe Resort.

It is odd they didn't add anything there since it seems they've been working to add them in so many other remodels. We definitely agree: those doors really help with the sound while others are sleeping.

Great upgrade to a tired looking resort. We love our SSR DVC, and can't wait to finally get a referbed room. Don't think the "preferred" upcharge is worth it, so hoping they progress quickly through this gigantic resort.

I see there isn't a table and chairs anymore. I don't recall there being a desk in the master in the one and 2 bedroom either. In the studio, the pull up coffee table surface will have to do for eating. The desk in the master was probably not used by most guests.

I love these new rooms. My only comment on a lot of the DVC studios is the kitchenette area is a little hard for me. The plates and cups are a little too high to easily grab.

They are still working to finish the last few rooms on the preferred buildings as of a couple weeks ago, so it will still be a bit until any rooms in the standard areas are complete for guests to stay in.

We are planning a last minute trip and Saratoga is the only one with availability. I liked your video. So many people are down on Saratoga but the rooms look nice. Can you tell me which buildings are close to Disney Springs? Do you happen to know if all the preferred rooms are now updated? Thanks for your help.

They have finished Congress Park and are working on Springs now. Both of those are preferred sections. Congress Park is the section near Disney Springs.

Diane Lucio There’s not. Because it’s near DS which has lots of options there. Which is really nice too because you aren’t limited to just the resort food.

The murphy bed seems a bit smaller than the queen bed in the video. Is there a chance it could be a full sized bed, instead of a queen?

calbear We didn’t ask about this one specifically. The others at Pop and such have always been Queen, but it is possible this one is smaller. We’ll have to ask when we go back. 😊

The Murphy bed is about 1 foot shorter (wide) that the regular bed. So, I’d feel safe saying it’s a full & not a queen.

Jodi Strock Thanks! It’s really interesting they made this smaller. Must have been to allow more space in the room, but that would stink if you have two people sharing the bed. More mattress space is needed in that case.

No. But you do have access to the laundry room for free.

There is no table to eat or work at! You have to keep the bathroom door closed or it is the middle of the kitchenette area. Designers could have learned from the excellent studio interior design at Bay Lake.

You can request a remodeled room, but currently they aren’t completely finished. They are more than halfway done with the preferred rooms though, so you have a good chance of getting a remodeled one.

Depending on the size of the scooter, generally they can fit through the doors but most guests leave theirs in the hallway 😊

I believe the colored one is from Aristocrats. It's Frou Frou. The one from 101 Dalmatians doesn't have a blonde main. The black and white I believe are from a Mickey animated short where the gang played polo.

Zoom out so people watching your videos can see wider shots in the beginning. You're not providing the wow factor being so close on everything. You literally shot downward for most of the video.
