Avevamo qualche giorno a disposizione e visto che il tempo qui sulle dolomiti non era il massimo , pioggia , freddo e neve su sui passi ,abbiamo trovato un traghetto e albergo sia per Sardegna che Corsica e siamo partiti ,questo è lo spirito del motociclista partire senza programmare nulla in anticipo .
Abbiamo trovato la Sardegna del Nord ventosa e mezza giornata di pioggia , la Corsica pioggia all'arrivo a Bastia .
Il Viaggio in traghetto :
Sabato 27/04/24 alle 21.30 da Livorno verso Olbia arrivo ore 7.30
Giovedi 02/05/24 alle 10.30 da Santa Teresa di Gallura verso Bonifacio circa 40 minuti
Sabato 04/05/24 alle 14.30 Bastia a Livorno ore 19.00
Attenzione per chi va in Corsica , rubano le moto mai lasciarle incustodite sia di giorno che di notte , leggete bene su internet -
A Bastia proprio sulla rotonda all'uscita del porto avete un Hotel alla destra si chiama Hotel Port Toga ve lo consiglio , moderno con piscina e in più ha il garage chiuso con un portone di quelli top ,non entri se non dai il numero della camera con nome di prenotazione ,e in più a fianco all'hotel trovate un ottimo ristorante con prezzi buoni ,si entra direttamente dall'albergo al ristorante ,per la colazione invece noi non l'abbiamo fatta nell'albergo perche chiedevano 15 euro a persona ,l'abbiamo fatta appena fuori dall'albergo alla destra c'è un bar sulla rotonda ,cappuccino + briosh + succo d'arancia euro 4.90 .
We had a few days available and seeing as the weather here in the Dolomites wasn't the best, rain, cold and snow up on the passes, we found a ferry and a hotel for both Sardinia and Corsica and off we went, this is the spirit of the motorcyclist, leaving without plan nothing in advance.
We found Northern Sardinia windy and half a day of rain, Corsica rain upon arrival in Bastia.
The Ferry Trip:
Saturday 27/04/24 at 9.30 pm from Livorno to Olbia ,Olbia arrival at 7.30 am
Thursday 02/05/24 at 10.20 am from Santa Teresa di Gallura towards Bonifacio approximately 40 minutes
Saturday 04/05/24 at 2.30 pm. from Bastia to Livorno , in Livorno at 7.00 pm
Attention for those who go to Corsica, they steal motorbikes, never leave them unattended day and night, read carefully on the internet -
In Bastia right on the roundabout at the exit of the port you have a hotel on the right, it's called Hotel Port Toga, I recommend it, modern with swimming pool and it also has a closed garage with a top door, you won't enter unless you give your room number with your reservation name, and furthermore next to the hotel you will find an excellent restaurant with good prices, you enter directly from the hotel to the restaurant, however for breakfast we did not have it in the hotel because they asked for 15 euros per person, we did it just outside the hotel on the right there is a bar on the roundabout, cappuccino + briosh + orange juice €4.90.
