Sarina Wiegman's appointment changed everything. She brought that tactical calmness that was lacking in previous tournaments. The English women's team were always on the brink with 3 semifinal appearances in World Cup 2015, Euros in 2017 and World Cup in 2019 but never quite took the next step. Sarina's experience of winning the Euros in 2017 and reaching the final in World Cup 2019 with the Netherlands brought a unique experience to the group.
