The problem with Chelsea in past 2-3 season have not been the manager, neither the players, neither the board. It is the balance between the manager & his players & the manager & the board. This is why I disagree with most people that tell me Lampard is not ready to be our manager. Tactical wise & Experience wise, it is correct. But these two factors did favor our last 3 or 4 managers and how did that end up? Lampard is someone that can maintain a good balance between his players as well as the board. None of the players can look at Frank and think 'I'm a bigger, better player'. Also, there's no reason for our board to not back him. He will play the youth & he won't demand any out of scope signings. Also, Jody Morris is his assistant! At this moment of time, Lampard ticks my boxes and I feel, we'll have a much better season than what most people expects!

Sarri literally didn’t give young players enough time and he always had the same game plan for every game. You don’t approach the PL like that. Series A is weak and he just took the easiest job of his life. Chelsea doesn’t always have the right approach but neither did sarri. Sarri is a good manager but not for the PL

Loui, Chelsea were 6th!!!!!!!!! with less than 10 games to go!!!!!!! how quickly you forget this. We made top 4 only because Man Un, Spurs and Arsenal were awful around the same time, but really awful. We were very lucky to make Europa league final, winning at home by penalties against Frankfurt!!!!!!!!Sarri played youth just after he almost got sucked, by not playing them, around home game against Malmo. Lampard is very intelligent and he is a winner, and maybe we will suffer in first year, but eventually he will get it right, as long as Roman will have patience

The targets were met due to Hazard, and Eden Hazard only. Take him out of the current squad and we would've finished below Manchester United or maybe wolves. That's the fact. Sarri was a stubborn old guy who believed in only one style of play. He might've been mighty successful with the players he would prefer in that 4-3-3 system. But the current squad wasn't up for that except 2-3 players. He failed to see beyond that, luckily got something to salvage. Don't get the hype over sarri seriously. People get so carried away if you win one trophy. That until the semi final we played no one of real note. Let's not forget we nearly went out in the semis due to sarri resting hazard like a tool. People say he used kids. Loftus is hardly a kid anymore.. and pre season away touring Hudson was are best player who for me should of been used well earlier. I'm sure he was forced with peer pressure from above to include him. So we finished third can't grumble with that squad but in the same respect the top four race was embarrassing we were the best of a bad bunch. Personally sarris subs were so predictable his style of play never changed and it cost us massively in games against the big clubs and with big losses to city, Bournemouth and everton.i never really felt we were that clever under sarri. Tactically he was poor games when we were behind he could of gone two up top but time and time again it would be William for Pedro or kovacic for Barkley. Stale. Lampard might lose more games but anyone would without Eden and a ban. So what he's inexperienced I would rather an English manager who is ex Chelsea who may actually develop some.youth during the ban as the squad is weak anyhow.
