Char Baug area has lovely and very old eateries esp where there is the Gurudwara saheb. This is an old area of Lucknow just outside the railway station.
I am from Gujarat but I am living in Canada with my Punjabi roommate. Trust me before coming here my weight was 43 but after coming here and living with my punjabi roommates I incredibly gained my weight. Their food is awesome 😋😋
Sikhs are great.Being a Brahmin,I always praise the Sikhs who believe in Hard Work,Sikhs are the only people in India who never beg near others.Hats off to Sikhs.During my stay at M.P.,I have eaten Maize Roti with chana saak.It is delicious. Jai Hind.
@Prakash Arun I know man, afterall I have taken birth in a Brahmin Family,We also beg during thread ceremony from house to house before wearing 'Janeu',but these traditions are to be modified.Today in India ,a lay man also raises fingers at Brahmins saying they are beggars,they don't leave a single thing used in rituals like Wedding,Thread Ceremony,Durga Puja,or any other Yanjas.
Yes man,I understand everything,along with little vedic knowledge inherited from family members,I have my Master degree in Nuclear Physics too and am a regular teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya since last 8 years teaching Physics and Maths to kids .I was saying in that context,a day was there,when Brahmins flourish in every field,but after empanelment of reservation system most of the UR category are occupied by OBC group because of their tremendous jeal towards competition. I have written it in that context,because as I am a Central Government Employee,I am subjected by harsh comments from people and have heard harsh words of begging habit of Brahmins from others.That's why I am trying to put an impact on my community to maintain the dignity and to excel in every field as once 80% of Nobel Prizes and Bharat Ratna are conferred by Brahmins. One more thing,I am grown up in Odisha which is a Tribal State and neither racism nor the caste system prevails here as it prevails in northern states.So I never try to dignity my caste.I just appreciated the work culture of Sikhs at an old age for survival.You people don't take it otherwise.
I have great respects for the Sikh community. Their lungars, the public service they do are of immense help to everyone. Both the community and the public prosper.

I been visited on this place on 18/11/19 it's truly good in taste and typical Punjabi food. unlimited chatti di lassi, unlimited saag unlimited roti.using only home made butter.its mouth watering.

@@sikhism1 whole himachal was never part of punjab, it was during british era himachal was made part of punjab. after formation of himachal few punjab hillstates were added into himachal hills, himachal has diverse culture and geographical regions totally different from punjab
