SAS history -legend- part 1 

This guy is buried in a family plot in Newtownards near the old building at Movilla Graveyard. His headstone is not even a military one, just a normal family plot with his name onit. Nothing else giving it away

According to Wikipedia the story about Mayne hitting Keyes is incorrect. Apparently he hit a Major Charles Napier instead lol

P B Mayne was a outstanding officer and gentleman. Reason why many said Mayne was never given the VC is because over stepping the mark by shooting many unarmed soldiers.
