Being in a depressive episode right now, these are literally all that I have been thinking. Will I ever be able to brush my hair regularly and take care of my hair? Will I ever want to go somewhere just because and get excited for it? When I go to bed and try to sleep, I can’t fall asleep. Sometimes I stay up for more than 24 hours until I basically pass out. Yet when I sleep, I don’t want to get out of bed. I haven’t felt like me for so long that I have forgotten who I am. Will I recognise myself if I become her again? Do I even want to be her? I have always wanted a cat/dog but I know I won’t be able to take care of it. Will I be able to have a normal appetite and eat regularly again? Will I ever stop binging/purging? I know I am broken beyond repair, so why even bother? Will I ever be able to develop a healthy coping mechanism rather than get addicted to one thing or another? Will I ever be able to face whatever it is rather than want to run away from it and try to cope by some meaningless stuff? Will I ever want to go outside unless I absolutely need something? I got a plant once, more than ten years ago, and I was determined to water it and care for it, to watch it grow so much that I would have no other choice but to put it in a bigger pot/vase. I ended up forgetting about it in a depressive episode. Will I ever change? I haven’t bought new clothes in two years. Will I ever get to experience love for fashion again? Will I ever be able to get into a normal relationship? Will anyone ever love someone so broken like me? Will I be able to feel love and be able to love someone? Will I be able to stop ruining all my friendships? I had good friends, good people around me, but I had no energy for them. I don’t blame them for forgetting about me. That’s what I wanted, isn’t it? I don’t even know what I’m hanging on to. It’s not hope for sure. I don’t think I’ll ever be me again because even if I were, I wouldn’t recognise her.

Most of the time, when you release a song, it always portray the life I'm living at that moment. I'm a mess. I don't know what I wanted to do with my life. I'm no longer the same person I used to be. I got back to my hometown, looking for myself, looking for the version of me that was hardworking, caring, who gives her best in everything she does and was not scared to express herself. But little did I know, she was no longer there.
