Spoke to the witness and he said “I am a seasoned hunter, I have been a hunting guide in several states. I want to discuss with you about a time I shot one of these creatures in Idaho. Myself and several other hunters saw this thing including a deputy sheriff. I ended up shooting it as it came towards our camp.
I know some people say it looks human….this did not look human.
This wasn’t the first time I have seen the creature. Several years back my father and I had a run in with one in Colorado...""
We will also be speaking to Amanda who is from Texas and will be sharing a strange encounter she had while doing trail maintenance.

In the early 70s we were out bear hunting on the Washington coast. The dogs hit and we dumped them out. A few minutes later the screaming started. All the dogs (bloodhound/bluetick mix) came back and hid under the truck. Our Walker sally continued the chase. It continued to scream until it got far enough away we couldn't hear it. We found sally. She had been jammed under a stump and we had to dig her out. Her leg was broken and the skin from her jaw to the back of her ribcage was ripped off. No claw marks. Something just grabbed it and ripped it off. She died. I'll never forget the screaming.

Im not a hunter but come from a big family of hunters so quite familiar with the rules of the game. We were always taught to never shoot anything you werent planning to eat. The only exception is when you or someone else's life is eminently threatened. So my question is, why on God's earth would you shoot him? Irregardless of how big the bullets. Drowning in your own blood's gotta be horrific & sufferable way to die. Youre lucky his buddies & family members dodnt get opportunity to exact revenge on you & yours. And far as intelligence goes, I'd bet $ many of them are smarter than a fair share of us humans. Wes I love your show & have been a long time listener. But I just couldnt keep my own opinion to myself on this last encounter. I'll never understand why people kill for the sake of just killing.

My encounters over a period of 40+ years -- you would not believe. One time, I had one stalk me while deer hunting. I was by myself, way out in wilderness. I was carrying my .300 Weatherby mag on that day. I had managed to give it the slip, then turn the tables -- only by keeping a cool head. It was literally cat & mouse. This thing came within 20 feet of me and then 50 feet another time and couldn't find me. Suffice it to say, I popped up when it got about 70 yards away, the second time. They seem to know what weapons are -- it gave me a menacing look and turned uphill and took off. I had no reason to shoot it. Since at that point, he was on the other side of the ravine, I had the feeling that he was going to try to circle back behind me. So,I hightailed it back to my FJ40 and left.

It Sounds Canine to me. I have heard a Bigfoot Howl. It has the magnitude of how LOUD it was, but the Bigfoot sounded different. The one I heard sounded like the Ohio Howl. This thing sounds like a Dog on a Loud Speaker. The Bigfoot sounded mornful, and echoed down the creek, but different than this thing. I don't know how Loud a Dogman is, but if they are LOUD like a Bigfoot, I would guess that this is a Dogman.

Not at all. We are programmed to respond to a crying infant. It’s why horror movies play that high-pitched musical strings sound right before a jump scare: it intentionally puts us on edge. Jackals in Africa and fishers (Fischers?)-a type of weasel-in the US and Canada are both known for making a scream that sounds like a human infant crying or shrieking during the night.

The blue jays in Arizona are our early warning system. The loggers were marking trees for cutting. We knew of a red tailed hawk nesting in the area. Mom and dad were hunting in our meadow so we hiked to the area of the nest. The forestry service said if we could get a GPS for them they would get the tree cutters to choose another area. As we walked we could hear the baby hawk calling and we moved through the area. Soon the blue jays were giving an all points bulletin and the hawk became quiet. The jays were fluttering around one tree as if they were babysitting. We found the tree got what was needed and the tree marks were painted black within a week.

I am 68 and I have spent a lot of time hunting and hiking in the deep bush of Northern Ontario, Alberta Rockies and Northern British Columbia. I have neither seen nor heard anything that would be evidence of an unknown bipedal beast. Having been to Sioux Lookout your intro piqued my interest. That bellowing you opened the show with is not new to me. I have heard that before in both Ontario and BC and it was coming out of a bull moose who got his balls caught up in a dead fall or was frustratingly horny during the rut. The sounds in the tape you played certainly had a distressed bovine quality to it. A couple of other observations contrary to your comments: wolves and black bears in predatory mode will pace a human usually downwind and slightly behind but sometimes relying on sight. If a black bear is doing that you have a problem which needs to be addressed because you are being sized up as a meal. The comment about the crickets going silent and nothing prosaic causes that; you can read many accounts from the Vietnam war of patrols manning their perimeters at night who frequently noted the jungle going instantly silent, which was very freaky, but which heralded the arrival of an undetected enemy force and a firefight shortly thereafter. And finally, the frequently described "heavy footfalls" I find interesting. The noisiest animal to walk through the bush is a man. The largest of North American mammals are able to walk through the thickest bush in virtual total silence. Any big game hunter who has experience will comment on how quiet it was just as a big bull moose walks out of the willows into the lake and makes absolutely no sound. I have read accounts of fishery officers standing in the middle of a pool doing salmon research in Alaska only to turn around and have a 1000# brown bear standing in the water 5 feet away. I met a moose hunter who was still hunting when he suddenly had the sensation something was amiss and turned around to see a cow moose staring at him at a distance that allowed him to touch her nose with his rifle barrel; he never heard a sound. So if there is a Sasquatch and you could hear it walk I think it would be because it wanted you to hear it.

First one was about 15 yrs ago in the 7 Devils wilderness of Central Idaho. Over 15-20 minutes I first heard a a grunting snort of a seemingly angry animal waking down hill away from me. I was clearly a 7-800lb bipedal critter. I grunted back at him & he began noisily crashing brush in a stomping hurried gate continuing downhill at an angle away from me left to write. I listened intently until he was out of range. I was sitting quietly because I was out hunting. I hadn't seen a single elk or deer in a very very wild area which was very unusual. Within 5 or 10 minutes I heard a whoop which was very very monkey sounding, but then a few minutes minutes after that I heard several wood knocks answered by a more distant wood knock in a slightly different direction. My second experience involved probably a juvenile Sasquatch at a remote camping location at the dead end of a road to entering a nearly roadless area. I was standing 20 or 30 yards from the camp trailer just enjoying the beautiful night The sun was down but it was early after Dusk. When twigs and small sticks started landing at my feet. I tried to determine where they were coming from and after 4 or 5 sticks landed at my feet. I could tell the general direction. It was a starry sky but no moon could be seen through the trees and the sticks continued to be lobbed at my feet. It's important to mention there was never a stick or pebble thrown at me. I picked up one of the larger sticks and threw it back in the general direction. A few seconds later a stick & stone were thrown back to me. I saw some pebbles so I picked up some small ones and threw them, pretty soon a pebble landed at my feet. My father-in-law came out of the camper and stood next to me and asked me what was up I said just casually Oh not much just enjoying the the beauty and the night sky and we chatted briefly quietly for 5 or 10 minutes and he went back inside the camper. Nothing was thrown while he was standing next to me. He went back in the camper and shut the door. After two or three minutes another stick landed at my feet. So I've heard this from other Bigfoot explorers and other experiences where if there's more than one person they will not play with you. The juveniles are very curious and if Mom or Dad are not around they're much more enjoining. This continued for nearly 30 minutes and abruptly came to a stop. I never heard a sound, never a grunt, never a whoop, never heard any crashing from 800 lb mom or dad, but it slowly slowed down and no more interaction. There are no critters in East Central Oregon that throw things over hand or that will interact with you throwing things to you always landing at your feet. Squirrels don't do that, chipmunks don't do that, and I could tell by the angle, it was from some distance though it took a good strong arm. That's my experience. I never saw anything. I never saw even anything I would have thought would be a silhouette, on either experience, either occasion. But in my heart I know what was there. I grew up visiting the Phoenix zoo when I was a kid and the whoop I heard was very very similar to either the gibbons or the howler monkeys at that zoo. I don't remember, but I was convinced it was a large primate just like everything else with sneaky animals that are stealthy in the woods, try to prove it! Especially to those who are doubters that won't accept any evidence, other than their own eyes.

So are they trying to kill one just to make the point they are real? If that happens then what is the next step? Judging from what I see what would happen is they would hunt them all down so they aren't real anymore. My question for now is do we need them to balance the predators they take out? Do we need them to take out the predators who kill for sport? Do we need them to balance out the numbers of deer and mountain lion? Do we decide which animals should be allowed to be real? I know from living around bear they readily learn how to raise their cubs to live in the same quarters as humans. They learn the rules if they stay in the vicinity like on Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado. They learn what day the garbage cans get put to the street. They raise their cubs literally in yards where people are out and about. I've watched a mama bear nurse her two cubs. I've watched as she very gently taught them to climb the trees whenever a dog decided to investigate. There are no bears in places like Mississippi where I now live because hunters killed them all. People here shoot anything and carry the picture around with them of the dead cougar, etc., they shot. I asked one why he shot it and he said he didn't know. Why do people have to kill everything? Is it just to prove they really saw it?

In Northern Ontario where Sioux Lookout is located, a lot of us just slowly drive the forestry and tote roads looking for grouse out on the side of the road eating and picking up small rocks for their crops. The whole family is often out in the truck or on multiple quads. Perfectly normal in Canuck land. If you are a purist grouse hunter this may be inconceivable but this is how it is done. We even shoot them on the ground! We hunt for meat not for sport. Kind regards. 🇨🇦

Wow. Can I first just congratulate this kid on being surprisingly articulate, well-versed, and knowledgeable about the woods and animals, etc. We're seeing a huge decline in intelligent young people like this. As far as his story goes, it sounds unbelievable BUT, he sounds extremely credible in his story and describing things so I think he's being truthful. I know many are upset that he shot it. I mean, I wasn't there, so I don't know what was going thru his mind. He's also young so his decision-making skills and brain haven't fully developed yet. Either way, both his and Amanda's stories are incredible, and I've experienced a similar situation as Amanda. The howls in the beginning sound very powerful! I would have been outta there! 😂 Great video, Les! 🙌🏻

Humans are not the best creatures of this earth. Sasquatch is a old creature. He’s been around for a long time. And if he has watched us long enough. He knows that too. If all the creatures of the forest go quit maybe it’s because Sasquatch is the protector of the forest.

To the fellow Texan with the National Forest encounter...they can understand your intentions so yes, it definetly knew what you were doing. They are a people not apes or animals and that wrong perception is what has held back learning...also they flank on the right because after observing people for so long they know most people are right handed and when followed we naturally turn to look behind us opposite of our dominant side. Turning to our dominant side makes using a weapon or even throwing a punch extremely difficult so they flank that side. They are very intelligent and have watched us closely. They know way way more about us than we do about them. Most of the time we are run out of the woods because something more dangerous is near and they are protecting us. They know fear moves people best so thats what they use

Amanda: Think of the tree knocks as an announcement of your presence. Texas seems to have as many Dogman sightings as Sabe (Sasquatch) sightings. As your encounter demonstrates, if your 'encounter' wanted you, it could have had you. Indeed, Dave Paulides tells us, he knows of no one whom has been harmed by a Sasquatch except in self defense. Which, again, with Dogman, is not the case. Maybe it would be better if you thought of being paced in the woods as being escorted to safety. Sasquatch are the only creatures we know of so far that can handle Dogmen. There are reams and volumes of stories of Sasquatch protecting, sometimes saving, the lives of people in the woods, lost children returned, the whole shot. NOT so with Dogmen. You likely can take that to include all the other cryptid beings that have been seen everywhere on the planet. In spite of your training, don't go alone. Not that two of you can defeat a cryptid. But while the being is busy with one of you, the other may escape to tell the tale. And, 'carry'. By all means. I personally wouldn't go with less than a semi-auto 12 guage, a 20-round drum loaded with slugs using a Red Dot sight, and the best night-vision optics you can find. But that's just me. All the accounts I've heard lead me to believe the 'silence' in the woods near a sighting is projected into your head mentally, (people standing beside you may not be aware of the silence at all.) By comparison the bad smell is a physical defense mechanism. There is one characteristic I have noticed that the Sabe and the Dogmen share; an affinity for women. That 'feminine presence' seems to literally bring them out of the woodwork. Sorry, didn't mean to be so long, or preach at you. 'Careful out there-swivel-six-and all that---Kenny

I'm from Missouri and I've been hunting in the woods that got real quite and I hid next to half under a huge fallen log and I heard hoot owls calling back in forth getting closer foot steps and it was two men camouflage came together 10 feet from me hidden had sheriff's badges and I could recognize one. They said did you see anyone and the other said no then they split up again going on down the holler hooting at each other as to let each other of there locating each other as they went. The weird part is how quiet the woods were like you said I mean snow blizzard quite. Not a insect bird squirrel nothing moving, nice October morning just getting light enough I could barely see. 50 degrees out . And after the two men went over the ridge and were gone ,slowly the birds ,squirrels insects frogs all started to make there normal sounds, and then back to normal activity and noises. So not just big foot quiets the things

Have been canoeing white water since the early 70s . Never thought much about bigfoot until I started reading online about encounters. Have paddled in some remote places and heard tree knocking , didnt think much of it at the time. Most of this has happing in Madison county NC. Probably around 2001 a group of us did a campout on an island . I got there a day ahead of the group. Hired a shuttle and went down there by myself and cleared out an area and built a fire ring. Just before sunset slightly odd things started happening. Heard big splashes just out of sight in the river, big beavers? Heard crunching leaves around the tent late at night. The one thing that really got my attention was just before dawn was this crackel crunch sound that just kept on going.

Does the bigfoot have universal animal speak? it commands the animals to be quiet through say ultrasonic waves or vibrations we cant hear? (the real king of the jungle) so it can hunt the human and listen for sounds to track the human? fascinating... and that fear felt from people thats like no other sort of overwhelms the human in an odd way as an aftermath of sending out waves or vibrations through the woods? as these things are all about noise and voice and sound and actions...
@macwinter7101
@macwinter7101 6 месяцев назад
They shouldn't need to command animals to be quiet to be able to track humans. Humans make plenty of noise and leave obvious tracks. Animals go silent in the presence of potential predators as a means of remaining hidden. It's easy to find prey when it's making noise. Many animals will instinctually go quiet when large animals enter.

Even if someone drags a dead one out, what then? Take it to a news station? Who's going to put that out on the airwaves? Once the cops know, so will the powers that be. Maybe if you could make it to the center of a highly populated city and throw it in the middle of a street where many people could see it before the police show up? I think even if some news channel showed it, it would get the same ridicule all the videos and pictures get online. I don't know. Maybe somebody does?

41:29 Colton, thank you for your candor. However, the emptying of one's bladder is not out of fear. It's your body evacuating anything that will slow it down as it readies itself for a fight to the death. You are undoubtedly aware of that; but what you are forgetting is none of that Is under our awareness much less control in those moments! That part of the brain is so inconceivably fast that before I had even registered the pain of a scalpel on my inexplicably unanesthetized flesh, my body was already rigid and bracing itself. Reactions like ours occur separately from awareness and are faster than conscious thought by orders of magnitude.
