Im also in the Banking space he has extensive knowledge this guy, he did his knowledge... Clearly at SASSA the people & systems who are supposed to double check each and every electronic payment on the back end are failing or simply don't exist, because the system should redflag irregular amounts especially large payments... Payment thresholds should exist...
Criminals are smart, this is some next level fraud. But it's clear it takes a lot of connections to pull off this type of syndicate! I'm interested to see how they got caught because it looked like there was a lot of people involved now
This was very basic, this whole problem was caused by management lack of knowledge. I also suspect that the management was involved and laxed controls deliberately. It's not complicated at all.
@@secretsoflife9136 Eish that would that would be sad if its true because these stories are important for our people but not all our people can understand what's being said in these videos
It's starts slowly bro, everything always starts at the bottom of the totem pole. He actually started off getting peanuts and that money was a lot for him at first and then he grew accustomed to the money and his lifestyle was also going up too. It's like traffic cops or cops saps they can't go back to just getting a salary and that's why it can't be fixed.
I remember when I started having business in Botswana. The cops were incorruptible and trying to bribe would definitely get you in trouble including prison. Small infringements like overspending had spot fines for foreign registered vehicles. At that time Botswana depended on South African merchandise and I would drive there every week to make sure that the clients were happy with the stock. Little by little they started collecting a lot of money because they had built brand new roads and they were easy to overspeed on and we would be 15 cars at a speed trap queueing for tickets 500 pula. Obviously South African and Zimbabwean drivers were firm believers of bribery and in almost 5 years those days of tickets were gone and they started taking 100pula for small cars and 200 for passenger vehicles. Because of the gvt crackdown they started to get smart. Then they started buying a ticket books that matched their book from their office. So because the raids would never know what was happening because foreigners were guaranteed money. End of day they would take 90% for themselves No one is too good for free money bro.
The most dangerous people are your normal employees that work everyday for years on systems. They carry a lot of knowledge. Just don't let them be criminals.
This guy was destroyed by greed. The first scheme was already paying them, they were buying cars etc. Unfortunately, they wanted to be ogabhadiya. At least they didn't kill anyone, or traffic anyone. This is the kind of greed I prefer, not that I condone but it's better than human trafficking and murders just for money.
Very very interesting, I'm just puzzled by how corruption easily start, an idea is proposed by one person, it quickly catches fire and before you know it, you're now a team.
i swear south africa has potential guys.... we have so many smart people.... if ran right...this country can be a very developed country.....this is genius
I always say criminals are so smart and I wish the correctional system would actually help and use these people who get convicted for these crimes to work together and watertight the systems and improve it to avoid crime. They understand the system more than the ones who created it but they are still able to find a way to break it. That’s a skill that can be used for a good benefit and make legit and clean money out of it
People must be paid thier fair share as their(salaries), we won't have such problems. Imagine the mess that is happening in other government institutions.
I fear for this guy’s life. I am sure those still in the fraud game aren’t impressed that he is giving away all the secrets! Now we understand how that KONKA booze is afforded lol
For real and at one point I was chased away at one of the biggest banks in KZN. As I found myself by the back office looking for the looo😁😁😁 in search of the bank card boxes
Mastermind! At some point I gotta study Criminology. There's something interesting about the mind of a criminal. Looking forward to hearing what led to his arrest, greed maybe?
@@smangan.4775 You can also add wanting to push the boundaries or to test the limits as some of the reasons they do such. If only the guys had a target in mind, that "if I can get 100k then I'm gonna start my legit business"
@@Mo_Zinho strangely I've been going through law prospectus lately. If will had it's way with money which is the stumbling block at the moment I'd enroll. I've been looking into law but my eye keeps going to criminology.
Nazo ke, senizwile isizathu sokungawutholi umsebenzi. This same corruption described in this video, applies to getting a job in government. Its who you know and what thier position is in the decision making hierachy and how much you are willing to pay them. Thina siya applaya, ama CV ethu ahlobisa ama office abo until they appoint the briber. Wuuuuuu South Africa ngiyakusaba.... Jesu, salusubuya uzolanda i washing yakho ngoba seyomile!!!!

Money is never enough. For people with nothing R10.00 is their dream for people with R1000.00 balance R1 000 000.00 is the target. The goes on and on and on until indefinite.
@@capturedbymelu The idea would be to use him to improve all the loop holes in the system. This kind of a guy will ensure that no one will ever do what he did again. I suppose when u have stolen so much money it doesn't feel right to employ such a person.
Fellow South Africans. This is the reason our country is in the state it's in. Please can anyone tell me, where are we going to run to when our country fails? South Africa was the only hope for sub-saharan Africa. Now we are a failed state. What now? What now?
@@nomfundomiya6392 Ey Nomfundo. This is so depressing sisi. There must be a way to fix this. Our home affairs needs to use the latest available technology that is used in first world countries. You are right, everything needs to be authorised using biometric systems. No exceptions
it is saddening for the people who spend hours in the sun, waiting for their SASSA money to be paid to them... the actual people who exist and live on the money... its heartbreaking,
My boyfriend's birth certificate was sold to a foreigner that's older than him. Home affairs decided to make a duplicate ID leaving both men with the same ID number. When home affairs was contacted they give us the runaround and no real solution, my boyfriend's ID number has been blocked which means he can't get credit as a profile doesn't exist for him. He currently doesn't have an ID which has made life very different to navigate, should he walk into home affairs with a gun demanding a new ID he'd be jailed faster than the crooks that work for them.
Lol I can imagine how the cops taking his statement must've found themselves swimming in a pool of confusion several times. Ey ngoba isgebengu sichaza fast mase sibanjiwe.
No matter how good a criminal is, there is also someone in the justice system just as smart and just as good, that’s how they get caught. Anyone with knowledge can choose what to do with it
Guys , be consistent when posting on platforms. Post on Facebook as well as here at same time. Some of us are comfortable with RU-vid. We love your videos but sometimes it feels like niyasincikisela... we know that you want us to keep looking for more but sometimes its annoying when you post half half videos... it's always best to post a complete video. Otherwise good work ... keep them coming
I don't pay for this content and I'm a big fan of this channel. I've watched almost all the videos here. I feel I'm entitled to comment how I feel and contribute to yhe enhancements of their goog work.
When you are going to do something involve as little people as possible if you can do it alone that’s even better. Not realising that if this was done for 40+ years he would’ve made way more money consistently
I know this guy. He lost his job, he now roams the streets of Johannesburg with a briefcase full of IDs trying to sell them to foreigners. What's scary is that now sassa is being paid to ghost accounts and the real beneficiaries 🥴
