Sakura love for Sasuke was always unconditionally, and some people make fun about the fact of Sakura taking care of Sasuke’s daughter (I’m not gonna spoil the end of this arc), but for me that makes her even more great, because her love is endless and she always treated like her daughter. And let’s assume that Sarada is Karin’s child, why people don’t criticize her for leaving her with someone else? As always, the criticism for Sakura only applies to her, and no to the others characters. I love how understanding you are with this show about how this start is an introduction. This arc especially is fully cannon, it was animated from the scarlet spring Naruto manga. While there are some bland anime canon arcs from here until we get back to manga content it does build up the characters and the rest of the cast besides our main people which is just great for world building and general development

In the manga this is suppose to be the first time sarada awakens her sharingan. Emotional trauma/anger sometimes sadness awakens it. Guess the anime wanted to show her awakening is a from a good feeling instead and the first uchina to do so (wanting to see her father)

It's always bothered me that they never touched on Karin being an Uzumaki, her and Naruto are literally the last of the Uzumaki clan. Just like Naruto looked like Minato, Karin is the only character in the anime with the same red hair as Kushina. Can't be Naruto's sister since they never had another child after Naruto or before passing. Could be Kushina's younger sister I guess. So, maybe I’m wrong, but I think the first red flag about that dna test is that it was a genetically perfect match. I wouldn’t imagine parent and child to be perfect matches genetically since the other parent’s dna wouldn’t allow for that. Only dna from the same person should be a perfect match.
