10:19 The shuriken are being summoned similar to how summoning companions work. If you notice Sasukes wrist he's wearing something with signs on it, I think it's connected to the vast ammount of weapons he can summon. He prepared for the fight this way aswell

Alright, Orochimaru is basically immortal... but at this point in the show you don't really know why or how. I mean, we know he steals bodies to live longer, but in those bodies he can still be killed. As far as Orochimaru goes, Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru for the most part, though part of Orochimaru's "snake body" was left behind cut up on the floor of his hideout, which Kabuto took and infused his own body with after Sasuke left. Orochimaru is really hard to kill because he can essentially shed his skin and heal himself... he can lose arms, legs, be cut in half and all sorts of stuff and he seems to regenerate and come back basically good as new, though it probably wastes a good amount of chakra. Not to mention that each body he takes over begins to reject him after a certain point because of all the experiments he has done to himself, no one is strong enough in body to allow him to continue living for more than like 3 years in that body... but that's why he wanted Sasuke's body, because he believes that the Uchiha body is strong enough, as well as makes him capable of learning all the jutsu of the world. Nevertheless, Sasuke absorbed him, and then when Sasuke was weakened by Itachi, Orochimaru tried to come out and take over his body, but Itachi sealed him away with his Totsuka Blade. However, a single snake from Orochimaru's body did escape.... and I think it would be naive to think Orochimaru couldn't regenerate himself from that single snake.... but perhaps it was just a snake.... but I think it was more than symbolism, and rather Itachi made sure he killed/stopped Orochimaru and his plans to take Sasuke's body. Later we will see why Orochimaru was so hard to kill and why he is essentially immortal... but I mean way later. Until then, as far as we know, Orochimaru is gone. This was a great battle. Sasuke and Itachi had a genjutsu battle, then Itachi used his ultimate genjutsu Tsukuyomi, in which Sasuke eventually broke out of it because Sasuke is very powerful with his own eyes. Then a dope fight occurs... we learn Itachi is not only going blind, but he seems to be coffing up blood.... which the story at this point tells us we can't assume it's because of the mangekyou sharingan overuse... what it does say is that Itachi wasn't as strong as he should have been... he was acting strange, not his usual capable self. The next episodes are great, and this whole arc coming up is great... Spoiler: As far as Orochimaru goes, he is immortal not because he can shed his skin, because he could easily be wiped out physically by a powerful attack like Kirin for instance. The only reason Itachi survived it was because he had the Susanoo, a spirit like Shogun warrior armor thing that Sasuke had no idea he had that blocked most of the impact of the blast from Sasuke's attack. Anyway, the point is that both Naruto in Nine tails form, or with the rasenshuriken or whatever other powerful attack he could muster, and Sasuke with Kirin could have possibly obliterated Orochimaru's body if they did fight, which is why Orochimaru used the Rashomon gates against Naruto's Four tailed Nine Tails cloak form when Naruto shot that mouth blast at him. But Orochimaru can live on even after his body is obliterated, even after Itachi sealed him simply because he placed his own powerful chakra in the curse seal marks on other people who are still alive, and therefore lives on inside them, like Kabuto, like Anko, like all the different prisoners that had the curse mark... Not to say Orochimaru was able to come back on his own, because why wouldn't he do it otherwise, but Sasuke later takes a piece of Kabuto's flesh/ Orochimaru's flesh essentially, and puts it on Anko's curse mark, then performs a reverse curse sealing that brings out Orochimaru's chakra and from that one piece of Orochimaru's flesh Orochimaru regenerates himself good as new.... Orochimaru is a monster, that's for sure. It just wouldn't surprise me if that one little white snake that escaped would have turned into Orochimaru eventually... wouldn't have surprised me a bit.... creepy snake man lol

Amaterasu is actually pronounced with the "u" silent. The English dub of this and Naruto have a lot of lost in translations in them, and a lot of westernization.

Young Weebly is correct. Orochimaru can not die. He has already achieved the immortality jutsu. This was done before we even meet him in og naurto. The jutsu binds his soul to this plain. Only downside is the human body can not live forever, thus the need for the body transfer jutsu he uses. Thankfully souls although they cant die they can be sealed. Which was what Itachi did. more on that in the next few episodes. The show explains better then I can.
