Something people tend to leave out about dual ms Kakashi, is the fact that when he received the dual sharingan power from obito, he also received a reserve of obitos sage of six paths Chakra. So that's why Kakashi was capable of managing both sharingan at full power for longer then 20 seconds

I never took the Karin statement where she says Sasuke’s chakra is thicker and colder than before as a power statement. IMO she’s just noticing how much more ominous Sasuke is becoming. He’s a darker person hellbent on murdering Danzo and his chakra is reflecting that.

Him fighting Kakuzu and Hidan alone for the most part is impressive

I think Kakashi meant that Naruto surpassed him by creating an S rank jutsu. Not necessarily that he was stronger.

Kakashi's ms reaction speed seems comparable to Obito's. I think people forget how godlike Obito can use his ms. So Kakashi being a genius prodigy and having Obito's eye should be able to do the same.

Bloodlusted Kakashi's kinda nutty, in any arc he's in honestly he's usually one of the strongest. I do miss when he was just sort of the benchmark for an elite jonin, but I also love what they did with his character all through Shippuden as well as Boruto. One of the only characters they didn't kinda ruin in one way or another.

I’m going to be honest, it really is incredibly funny to even consider that he had no six pads chakra, no additional anything outside of both MS… the thought of Kakashi being that utterly op hits me different

The 5 Kage summit fight I think Kakashi stands a good chance for 2 reasons. 1. Sasuke was becoming mentally unhinged. 2. Sasuke was going blind rapidly. Kakashi exploiting these two things could win. but a non blind sasuke kicks his ass.

I think what Kakashi meant by saying Naruto surpassed him is that he was able to add his chakra nature to the rasengan effectively which Kakashi wasn’t able to do and had to create chidori. I don’t think kakashi meant in raw/combat power

7:12 I mean, Kakashi could've even just been impressed by how Naruto was able to successfully fuse his wind-nature with the Rasengan in a way that Kakashi never could with his lightning-nature. In that instance, yes, Naruto surpassed Kakashi; however, once again, this is a modest notion. After all, Kakashi created Chidori, a completely unique skill, by failing to fuse his lightning-nature with the Rasengan. So, it comes down to which one's more impressive: a new enhanced version of an older, broken jutsu, OR a new, 100% unique broken jutsu.

Kakashi beats Sasuke up until his Hebi version. Anything after that and Sasuke pretty much wins handily. I ain't going to mention DMS because that was only a temporary boost.

I think that kakashi would win if they finished that fight in the 5 kage summit arc ... but if sasuke was full power at the point (and not just really exhausted cause he fought all day) then its a bit different

Tbh I feel like this is kinda like Anakin vs Obiwan. Sometimes raw power and talent just can't compete with experience and intelligence. Plus kakashi spent pretty much the whole series fighting people way stronger than him.

@7:05 I honestly think Kakashi was congratulating the Rasenshuriken as ‘surpassing’ anything he had learned himself. Base to base, Kakashi should still be able to out-box and slap around Naruto, like Kabuto did before Team 7 saw Sasuke that first time again. Here, Naruto surpasses Kakashi in chakra and raw A.P., but Kakashi has the edge everywhere else.

the preda path absorbs ninjutsu, jiraya loved to spam large scale ninjutsu and as you admitted the animal path was one of the stronger ones, just because the asura path has big missile doesn't mean it's more USEFUL in a fight. Obviously the human path is not one of the more combat oriented paths, but the paths were stronger when nagato was focusing more on them and could channel more chakra into a specfific path. Jiraiya was fighting the only 3 active paths at the time in the rain village those were the strongest versions of those paths that we ever saw and jiraiya didn't just fight them he killed them. They were just dead if he knew about pain he could've disposed of their bodies right there.

We know that Kakashi is obviously MASSIVELY stronger during the War-Arc, to the point where I think people actually UNDERESTIMATE his feats in the war-arc, especially after he gets pissed because of Zabuza Edo Tensei. But the question remains WHEN does he gain that strength? I think there's two ways to think about it. One, his talk with his father while dead cleared his 'blocks' in his mind, and his chakra immediately started to increase, and he just got massively stronger because of that, with nothing limiting his chakra and powers now. (Perhaps even the resurrection itself helped his body?) Then with some casual training to get used to these new levels of chakra, that's why he's stronger. I personally lean towards my second theory which is, his talk with his father did clear his blocks but what they did was massively increase his TRAINING rate. Which makes sense, considering if War Arc Kakashi fought Five-Kage Sasuke, welp. Not much to say besides bye-bye Sasuke. I'd go with the wager that while Five-Kage Summit Kakashi IS stronger. I don't think at this point he's massively stronger. I think it's pretty fair to say that Pein Kakashi does in fact beat Sasuke of the Itachi fight probably... 7/10? 8/10? times. Admitedly it's hard to say, because we neve actually see 'full power' Pein. When he fights Naruto he's weakened. Kakashi clearly isn't on the same tier as Pein. Jiraiya clearly isn't either. Naruto only even beat Pein because Pein was weakened, naruto had prep time, the full toad clan, his seal broke, and then didn't he somehow after having his seal restructured come out of the Satellite in Sage Mode? Like, literally the only reason naruto even got close to winning tbh was that Pein was weakened + Hinata is suicidal. My point with this is, I don't think Kakashi losing to Deva Pein is bad at all. Remember, even if he's holding back this IS a full-power Pein who fought the six tails kyuubi just with Deva after destroying Konoha and fight naruto who used sage mode multiple times. Overall, I actually think people underrate both Pein AND Kakashi, while slightly overrating sage mode Naruto. I'd even go as far to say that Kakashis fight against Kakuzu was more impressive then Sasuke's fight against Deidara, but that's a whole different conversation.

One thing I always assumed but realized was never actually stated was that the paths of Pain seem to be stronger individually, the less of them are being used. Like the Tendo Path takes significantly more damage than the other paths and keeps fighting (not counting the filler scenes against 6 tails naruto) and I always assumed that's because it was the last one so Nagato could focus all of his chakra on it. If that were the case, then the 3 that Jiraiya fought could have been stronger than the paths individually while they were invading the leaf. All 6 being active is still more dangerous, especially 6 vs 1 but Nagato was fighting an entire village while the Tendo and Asura path were killing Kakashi.
