The antennas are in the air! Final mounting adjustments, leveling etc... still need to be done, as well as installing control cables and coax before the antennas can be raised higher to their final height.

You are correct however testing has been done that shows when antennas are mounted in a plane 45 degrees from the plane of the boom, little or no disruption in gain or pattern occur. I'm trying it with the MUCH cheaper metal boom first.
Sadly it's been on hold. I do a Jeep podcast and in April I purchased a 2021 Gladiator and between work, the show and building the Gladiator my focus has been shifted.
@@wb5zddtony854 I’m sorry you weren’t able to get it finished! I finally was able to buy the rotator and antennas and am looking to get mine up. When you did put that 1.5 inch pipe in the 2 inch pipe how was the fit? If it fit pretty tight I thinking about coming up with a winch system so I could raise and lower the mast.
